- provide all relevant links to pages, groups or individual group posts (click on "Permalink" for the post you are referencing and copy and paste it from your browser's address bar) to help us address your inquiry most efficiently.

Known issues

Issues that are currently causing problems for members include:

• Can't complete registration?: If you are trying to sign up but can't get the captcha code accepted, PLEASE just be patient while we try to resolve this issue. The Tech Team is working on it and hopes to have it working again as soon as possible. Please don't write to tell us that you can't register because there is, unfortunately, nothing we can do for you. However, if you are a tech geek and can help us do some testing on this, please write and tell us what browser and version you are using and we will contact you for more details. Thank you! We look forward to welcoming you as a new member soon!.



• Validation e-mail not sent?: If you just registered (welcome!) and have not received your validation e-mail yet, please be sure to add noreply@couchsurfing.com to your address book so our messages don't get "confiscated"! Then try requesting the validation e-mail again. If you still don't receive it, select the category "Registration Problems" from the drop-down menu below and please tell us what membername you registered under.



• Recently stopped receiving messages from us? Please make sure that your privacy settings are set appropriately. Then be sure to add noreply@couchsurfing.com to your address book or follow your email provider's instructions to whitelist us!



• Photo uploads: There are currently various issues with photo uploads. If you have tried uploading a photo and you received an error message or it doesn't appear on your profile, please just be patient and try it again later. Also, many folders are currently "missing". Fear not, they should come back eventually!



• Meeting invitations: Invitations to meetings can now also be sent CouchSearch results for ONE search that returns more than 300 members! Yay!



• CouchSearch: When using the "Name" filter, you will get more reliable results if you enter just one name (e.g. first name OR last name).
