Giampiero Calabrese

Giampiero is one of that kind of Cser you see from the first moment is deeply involved on it and he loves it! I knew him from his descriptions of other people, but also from his activities on CS, but meeting him in person was even better! For sure we'll meet again Milano, Ascoli or somewhere else!

Gianpiero is great! He's a nice guy, he's talkative...you can probably speak to him about anything. My room-mate and i talked to him quite a bit about fashion..and he didn't seem bored at all. :D!

From the first day ErGiampi and his energy came in Berlin everything started to be "Couchsurfed": dinners, meetings, long internet cafe email checking, telephone calls from italian meetings and of course lot of touristics walking around the city.
He introduced me to Mariangela and together we visited different locations without break, having great laughs about "not dating websites" and triks to have good references from hosts and guests. I think we will meet again soon eating only italian food, like we almost did here!!! Viel Erfolg! Tschüss!

Gianpiero is a great guy...charming and fun...he's welcome back in Berlin any time! Ciao Signore Ambasciatore!

I knew him first on an improvisational italian dinner at my home when he brought some specialities from his city (delicious meet-stuffed olives and more!) Then later he joined the Language Exchange Group. He's really a very nice and relaxed person.

I knew him in a dinner of the Umbria group, we talked a little bit but i can tell he is a quite and a friendly guy, very active in cs project, he knows many CS people and he helped many people to find a couch.

Thanks to Giampero and Simona to teach us our first words in Italian. The next time we meet we will speak italian perfectly. Of course we can say that they are very respectful, wanderful, openmind etc..., but the best thing was the patient they had, repeating 1000 times words in italian that we will never remember again :)

After some meetings finally we had a chance to talk more during an aperitivo in Rome. So bad he couldn't show his city to me, cause he looks a nice and interesting person. After the Cesena Nero su Bianco Meeting, where he was kidnapped by a hard-core fan, after the Paganello Meeting, where he was blocked by the snow and I was too busy ehm deejaying, after all the mails and messages in the Italian Adriatic Surfing Network, we finally had the chance to know us better at Palio di Parma Meeting! He was so kind to give me a passage home, so we had the occasion to chat a lot. Giampi is a good guy, and his father is a real old-fashioned gentleman!

Giampiero and his girlfriend are a beautiful couple. They showed us Ascoli ancient downtown. The night together in piazza del Popolo was very nice and the cafè in the morning too. We did the same for them. They are beautiful guests!

Ellos son estupendos, muy alegres y ávidos en conocer cosas nuevas y lenguas nuevas, así da gusto, además su experiencia en hacer couch surfing da mucha tranquilidad, porque ellos saben qué hacer y cómo moverse y orientarse por una ciudad nueva.

It's 6 years time I know Giampy he's a very good person one of them you can meet just once during the life, available to help others, sensible and very good in joking!

Gianpiero is one of the columns of this organization and does his ""JOB"" with a lot of interest and commitment...listening to him is like having a complete layout ot couhsurfing .... furthermore his father was very kind with me getting up very early in the morning to prepare my breakfast...

After some unfortunate strike in Paris that prevented me from having the pleasure in February to get to know Giampi and Simona, they finally came in May/June ... THE genuine traveller, THE genuine Cser, a idol for lots of newbies and I do clearly see why. Really involved in CS life, creating/helping/improving, it was a true delight to have them home and give everything I could for them to have their best experience possible in Paris ! Sure we'll meet really soon ;o)

Giampiero was the great organizer of the Ascoli's Meeting, that was so cool and really well done. He is smart and nice! Of course we will meet again to do something incredible around Marche or Abruzzo.

Almost everybody is judged extremely positive. But in this case the judgement is based on the skills of Giampiero in organizing a meeting with so lot of people, providing accomodation for everybody, involving other members, taking care of everybody ... and more and more.

I meet Giampiero during an amazing Barbeku-meeting in Ascoli...he's really great to organize and coordinate the event, with passion and enthusiasm! Everything was ok, appointments (so many!..), walking, food, drink, and PEOPLE. Many thanks Giamp!

Giampiero and I were in the same groups online since some time already, but we never made it to meet before the Tuscan Hilltops Pizza meeting in Pistoia in May 2008! Giampiero is as cool as his nice and smiling face that was a point of reference at the meeting! I hope to meet you again to know each other better!

The first time that i met Giampiero (and Simona) was in Madrid. I right away felt very comfortable with them because they are very friendly, easy to talk with, easygoing, down to earth in the good way and they are both openminded. Giampiero and Simona were the first ones to confirm to join us in our First Intl Camp here in Madrid, I did hear some good things about them but when I met them, specially Giampiero it was a pleasure to have some chats, I enjoyed pretty much having him here in Madrid and I wish we could keep in touch

He was very kind. It is possible my nephew Lucía and me, will guest of them next june. If it is not possible, I would like to see Giampiero and Simona in Roma. They are very nice.

Giampiero is a great guy! Even we couldn´t spend much time together, I felt he is a very sociable, open-minded, funny and polite guy. I am sure he is one of those perfect hosts you can find here in CS.

I and Irene are looking forward to meeting him and Simona again, it doesn´t matter if it´s in Spain, Italy, Norway,.... We think they are a very nice and sweet couple, full of interesting things to share and absolutely helpful.

We met during a gathering in Budapest thru my good friend Erna. Giampiero is a nice and fun person to talk to. Then he finally made it to Mexico and we managed to meet in Mexico City (though I am living in Cuautla), we drove to the his host family house and we went out for dinner with them. I wish we could have met longer time. Specially in Oaxaca! But certainly there will be a next time, after all we both live in awesome places worth visiting!

We had such a nice chat.. He seems to be highly reliable person. He's funny and friendly...and.. he eats pizza even though he said he had eaten before :) :)

We met many times with Giampiero, and always had nice times together. He's a good collective dinner companion, never missing a passing dish, but not eating all himself. Try sitting in front of him at next meeting ;)

My parents absolutely loved this guy, they took him for a quick look at Centro historico. we met in Warsaw Winter Camp and then I was his guest in Ascoli. I can just confirm Filipek's Words - Giamp is great person, I am found of his sense of humour and I really liked to spend time with him. I trust him comletely and you can be sure he will never let you down. I hope, Giamp, you still remember your vodka's experience with my relatives ;) I am sure we will meet again very very soon.
