Cynthia threw an event at a restaurant in Santiago, Chile. I was impressed by her focus on me while we were talking. It made me feel important and interesting.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about Cynthia! She was a great guest and very patient with my horrible planning skills. :) Her appreciation of the couchsurfing community is obvious from the moment you meet her and that feeling is absolutely contagious when she is around. LadyLawyer found my profile on CouchSurfing, and stayed in Candide's aft cabin for a couple of nights. She was the perfect guest! I mean, she showed up with Caviar, cream cheese, and crackers! What's not to love about that!?!? We had some great talks in Candide's cockpit. She introduced me to her lawyer friends here in Fernandina Beach. From these experiences, I learned that lawyers are actually...people! ;-)

Cynthia is amazing and it was such a pleasure to finally meet her in person. She has helped me with so many things related to the couchsurfing project in order to help me become a better nomadic ambassador. Her dedication to this project is exemplary. I recommend that when you meet Cynthia, drink some coffee because you will want to stay awake the entire night listening to her travel experiences :)

Meeting Cynthia was a great experience. I learned how much one could accomplish and see in this short time we have on earth. Cynthia has inspired me and I feel blessed to have met her. Anyone that has the chance to meet her will feel the same. I would love see her again wherever it may be.

I had corresponded with Cynthia previously to get tips on organizing CS meetings, and she was phenomenally helpful. My brother also hosted her in Jax and told me so many wonderful things about her, so I was really looking forward to meeting her in person. Well, we finally met down in Tampa at a CS party and I can say that she overwhelmingly surpassed my already high expectations. I feel truly privileged to have met her, and I can’t wait for the next Florida CS gathering.

I invited myself to join the WH Women's Bar Association and Cynthia gleefully accepted my 'self-invitation.' She has been so willing to invite me to socials, to couch surfing events, and to take me under her well experienced social wing. I had the privilege of meeting Cynthia in St. Augustine. She was surfing with another local Couchsurfer. We had a great time hanging out with her and her Couchsurfing friends. Cynthia hosted a CS lunch and I am so happy that I attended. I am new to CS and the lunch introduced me to other CS enthusiasts, which helped me with ideas for travel and opened my eyes to the community. Cynthia is a great host with a lot of travel experience and ideas. She is warm, open, and I felt that I could trust her to provide great direction. Cynthia was really helpful in coordinating this luncheon as well as some rides for this event. She is well traveled and interesting to talk with. You will enjoy your time with her.

We had spoken a couple times and exchanged emails about a brunch she put together. I mixed up the dates and arrived a week early, so was able to scout out the restaurant firsthand. Meeting in person, I found her to be intelligent, pleasant, personable, and Real. She put on no airs, and seems to genuinely enjoy meeting other travelers. Having made travel a prority in her life, we had similar perspectives, and hit it off pretty well. Do I know her well enough to trust EVERYTHING in my world to her? Not yet, no, (and there are few I would give that level of trust to.) But between being an ethical attorney and the conversations - what was said, not said, and shared - I feel comfortable to say she's the real deal, and that her integrity can be counted upon. If I were traveling and came across her, she would be in my confidence immediately.

I rode to a CS potluck event with Cynthia and had amazing conversation, so much so that I can't wait to spend time with her again in the future! Plus, she saved my mom from a killer snake!

Cynthia has amazing travel stories and travel dreams. She is a proud representative of the couch surfing community and can offer invaluable advice. I was lucky to meet her at my very first CS event.

What a pleasure to have Cynthia stay with us. It didn't feel like having a guest stay with us, she was more like family. She brought me a copy of our school's alma mater which I had completely forgotten. It was like having my sister stay with me.
Oh and the cat hair is no charge.

So now that I have had the opportunity to surf at Cynthia's place I have to say it was quite pleasant. She made sure I was comfortable and we talked until the wee hours of the morning. I bonded with Star who made me feel right at home. She made sure I wasn't lonely and slept with me all night. If you stay with them make sure you stay up for the light show! There really is so much to do in her area. See you guys soon!

Cynthia is an all around nice person. It was a pleasure spending time surfing with her and getting her insight into all kinds of different topics. I know I've made a wonderful friend.

Cynthia and I have chatted thru email alot about expanding CS networking in our local area, region, and state. We finally got to meet at a CS event in Tampa and a kayaking trip the following day. I have a feeling that Cynthia will mentor me into a good "up and comer" to CS, and that she and I are going to formulate some great ideas to put into motion. I can't wait to learn more from her! I highly recommend meeting her, if not going to a kayaking event with her.

Cynthia is doing a great job of planning CS events in central Florida. She organized a wonderful day at Bok Tower gardens in Lake Wales, and even got everyone free tickets. :-)

If you're an active FL member of CS Im sure you've heard of Cynthia aka Ladylawyer. She is a great organizer! I attended the Brazilian dinner in Orlando and also Bok Tower which she organized. She is also a good Taboo player :) Cant wait for future adventures!

Cynthia organized a wonderful CS meet-up at the beautiful Bok Tower and Gardens in Lake Wales. She's very nice and is doing a great job getting the CSers in Florida together.

Cynthia was very kind to save tickets for me and other CSers for the Bok Tower Gardens picnic event...she even gave me a tour of the Bok Tower Gardens which she knows a lot about. Bok Tower Gardens was one of the most spectacular places I've seen in Florida. I had a wonderful time, enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and company of Central Florida members. Thank you so much for organizing this beautiful event Cynthia. Hoping to see you again in another wonderful Couch Surfing event.

Cynthia was an amazing guest. She is very active within couchsurfing and inspired me to become more active within the CSing community myself. I will definetly keep in contact with her as she has now become my Couch Surfing Mentor.

We learned a lot more about the organization in CS and thoroughly enjoyed our exchange of information of our mutual travels.

I was watching Cynthia's activity on cs for some time than finally we got the chance to meet in a get together in Orlando. Few days after that, i had the chance to host her for 1 night and share even more thoughts about CS and trips in general. She is a very experience traveler, and she has a big passion for CS. Cynthia is a very nice person, she has a bright personality and is organized.
She has very good travel ideas, tips and is very enthused about the CS community. Cynthia in my eyes is the glue that is keeping Polk and Hillsborough active.

We saw each other briefly at the restaurant but were able to get into some more in depth conversations about the politics of CS at John's house. Lady lawyer is easygoing with intellectual conversation.
Update: Wow did we have fun and adventure kayaking the Hillsborough River. Lady Lawyer was an excellent guide.

I had the honour of being Cynthia's first host and she was a fabulous guest! It was a real pleasure to have her stay. She's a great conversationalist and has lots to share. Definitely someone you'd love to have for dinner ... at the very least!! We've kept in touch since meeting and she's gone from surfer to friend! I have known Cynthia since 1986; we met in London, and have remained friends ever since!

We have traveled together extensively in England and in the US.

Cynthia genuinely enjoys every travel day, is enthusiastic about it and sees the best in it! Even on a 'bad' travel day (like when it rains on the day you want to do a long hike), she'll say at the end of the day:
"well I met X today, who was great", or
"I learned Y today", or "I saw Z today, which was unexpected, but really great!"

Plus, she is great when planning a trip; just last week, she emailed me her personal travelogue for an upcoming trip that my husband and I hope to take in the fall; she is wonderful about sharing her travel knowledge.

I can't say enough good things about my dear friend, except that I hope we'll always be friends!

Cynthia is such a warm person, friendly and caring and really, really easy to talk to. I'm so glad she contacted me and that we had time to get to know each other. I know we'll see each other again someday.
