I've met him at Brno CS meeting and I really enjoyed talking with him. He's likeable, smart and has interetsing opinions, so talking with him was very enjoyable. Really nice guy, I am happy to meet him...

(Yeah, what more, even he's Irish, he can change his accent for pretty clear and easy english, so even if you are not native speaker, you don't have problem talk to him:))

Owen is witty and wacky guy. He is deeply in love with traveling and encountering new cultures and new people around the world.
He knows how to be a good guest and how to share CS spirit!

From a not altogether perfect start when we first met we have become great friends done some travel together, smoked manys the fat one and we share a secret love for nerdy strategy computer games

I hosted Owen and his two friens for 2 days in Novi Sad. Spending time with them was very funny and interesting, they are very friendly, talkative, easy going and good chefs especially for spicy food:)

owen is a good man to have around in a strange situation. and a strange man to have around in a good situation...

I met with Owen in the house of Chris in Dublin by chance. He was also the guest of Chris during my stay. We chatted a lot and played "ESEK", which is one of the Turkish famous national card games, together after he had reminded us this game and had great amusing time during our game.

His advices helped me during my stay in Iran,. Owen’s a charming, open minded pal and we had a very good small time!.Thanks…

Owen was my guest ... I think for 4 or 5 days in Tehran. He is a very nice guy, with good sense of Humor. I enjoy their stay in my home, and specially Owen is a good Cook!, don't miss his cookings:D I Wish you best on the way to India, and I hope you reach to Pakistan with no problem!

Owen was a few years ahead of me in primary school so I've known him forever. He's a friendly guy and is hilarious - he's got tons of great travelling stories, and a totally unique outlook on life

owen and his friend were our guests for 2 nights, they are energetic, good knowledge about many area. if you see the rout of thier trip, I'm sure you'll sit for some hours to hear their useful memoir.

Owen is a great guy to hang with. He's full of great stories and amazing life experiences. We hope he makes it to Japan safely (and maybe we can meet up with him and George for some noodles in Tokyo!)

I would say with the utmost experience that owen will serve as perhaps the best couchsurfer you ever take into your home. Grab the chance while you can!

I hosted Owen for two nights at my place, and i really wish i had more free time for him, but we were both very busy and very tired at those days (although i must admit his work was much harder than mine).

He is a very smart, interesting young man, really independend and a true traveller.
Dont hesitate to host him or meet him if you have the chance.

It was extremely nice of him that he offered to go to the train station and pick up my next guests. Thanks a lot for that, Owen.

Owen is a very very nice guy. He is the most adventurous person i've ever seen and that's why he is very inspiring also. He always has an interesting and funny idea on any subject. He-as a tourist, hosted us in a hooka place in Turkey.. Isn't that ironic?

He and Michael were very nice and talkative, they were kind and cooked pasta with a nice cheese sauce and vegetables too! Hope they're enjoying their travels if they're still on the road! :)

he has so much stories with him, he is a true traveller who knows the history, politics, culture and environment of the countries he travalled. the stories he shared were all so excited to listen. i'm glad we met. and sorry about the rabbits telling your furtune rubbish:S

Alway an interesting person to converse with. Awfully random, a bit like a headless chicken with the brains of einstein.

Owen stayed for a few nights on my couch. He was nice enough to cook for me- well, irish food!- and to be friendly to my cat and friends. He's quite an original guy and an experienced traveller, for such a young man. Sail ho!

Only few hours together, but very intensive. We fall to sleep at 2 hours a.m.

We met when I surfed his mom's couch in County Clare, Ireland. He was there to visit her at the time. He's really great company and spent a day showing us around in the area.

Owen played our tourist guide in county Clare (great job! ;)) and I had a lot of fun when listening to his stories!

Bogman!!! Surfed with Owen while he was over at his mom's in Co.Clare, Ireland. Did some great hill and bog walking together. This guy knows the area like the back of his hand (even though he sometimes forgets which hand!!!) and knows all kinds of great adventurous shortcuts. They might take a bit longer sometimes but they're definately worth it!
