While it is difficult, finding new words to describe how kind Seth is, I didn't need much time to figure that out when meeting him. The moment we met was actually hilarious. When he woke up he was quite surprised… ;-) We will never forget. He wasn't only able to compete with the rare chocolate we brought from switzerland with a bacon chocolate (!!) but also opened his house to us while he was very busy and exhausted from work. He introduced us to a crazy cool bunch of other CSers and took us on one of the coolest walks through NY at Night. Next time I am in NY I hope that I have the chance to spend more time with him.

Seth is obviously one of the biggest assets to CS, and his help with the whole Couch Crash festival was in no way insignificant. It was a pleasure getting to know him, although we didn't really have the chance to speak much. I do hope that I shall meet him when I return to NYC, or if he ever visits London or Mumbai. You're very welcome, Seth!

seth was ever so kind to host me and my little angel for 5 nights in his new york apt,though i ended up having a real sweet set-up,couch-hopping between his place and another surfer in queens! it was fun! seth is super nice guy..kind, generous, helpful, gentle, totally down to earth.. what can i say..no better than him to represent the CS community and what it truly stands for.

I was told of Seth having a CS party by my buddy Caspar & Ashley.
We strolled on over & we were warmly greeted by Seth.
He has a great place w/a spectacular view of the Empire State building.
He was BBQ'ing & had refreshments on hand.
Truly a top notch guy in my book!

Me and my friend Judith crashed on Seth's couch for a whole week. We had a blast since there's always someone around and Seth is fun to hang out with. We were more than just lucky to have him as our first cs host ever. I hope he'll come and visit us in Germany on one of his Euope trips. He's always welcome. Even if it's just for a drink ;)

Me and my friend Steph had the pleasure to have Seth as our first CS host.
He didn't know us but nevertheless we could stay with him for a whole week!
From the moment we met he was just so nice and friendly and we felt really at home at his place.
This is called "Couch" Surfing but - as a real gentlemen with 5 CS girls at his place one night - he wanted us to sleep in his bed while he was taking the Couch. He is always more than welcome to stay with us in Germany!

Seth's house is the best example of a true CS experience. He's damn laid-back, always able to crack his (wonderful) WV accent, tell stories of life in the truly slow-lane....while whipping up drinks and preparing for wild nights of BBQ's on his terrace, scaling the stairs up to the "real" roof or getting ready for revival.
He dedicated his house heart and soul to couchcrash NYC week in August, and left his house open and planned events for people while he was at work. He was always around at Revival giving massages, and Seth bearhugs :)
I've spent a lot of time with Seth in the past few months, and for some reason we have just "friended" each other on CS. He is a truly inspirational character with never-ending love for all. A master of CS, and of life!

I met Seth through Steve. Seth has always been hospitable and all around a super swell guy!!!

Seth is super friendly and chill. He loves people, loves to throw parties and share his awesome apt with everyone :-) Loads of positive energy.

Good times, definitely.

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to spend with Seth but he seems to be a great person..all the people who know Seth say such fantastic words about him..everybody just ADORE Seth! He is so open and kind..and I got the perception that when you ask him for a favour he is just unable to say "no".

Saturdaynight the 6th of Sept. was a good inauguration for mee... preparty in Seth's place and after that a Brooklyn Rooftopparty... Fuck... I was pretty drunk.... jeeezzz... my head the next morning...pffff! But what a great time I had....

What can I say about Mr. Wright Now that hasn't already been said? Nothing! So, I'll start by saying he is one of the most generous people I've ever met-always opening his home and helping people out when they need it. And then there's CouchCrash...who let's hundreds of people crash in their apt. everyday for a week?

Honestly Seth you're one in a million and in a world full of selfishness it's good to know that there are people like you who renew my faith in humanity!

Now if that was too heavy-I can also comment on how much fun we have had; everything from dancing at Karaoke bars and dive bars in Williamsburg to his fabulous rooftop parties and um costumed themed crazy nights.

I might add that Seth is a bit of a bad influence on me in the costume department and has gotten me in all kinds of trouble not to mention a new name!;)

So thanks Seth for being a friend, provocateur, therapist and all around good guy! As everyone who meets Seth knows we're all lucky to know him!

He is the sweetest guy you'll ever meet! I've only started to know him in the past week, but had amazing good times with him. He kidnapped me to his apartment and came out to far-away brooklyn to join me for dinner on my bday. I love to hug him. He has the tendency to lift me up, feet in the air. Dancing in the streets has reached a different level with Seth :)

After a particularly crazy night during Couch Crash Fest in NYC, I realized I left my camera at the bar. Seth picked it up and got it back to me. Thanks, Seth!

I met Seth in my first day when I moved to NYC. He courteously received me in his house where I audaciously called him the Devil (lol). Days go buy and Seth have been nothing but an angel in my life, a true friend: my confident, my partner in crime, my “go to guy” in the Big Apple. His generosity still astonishes me and his vivacity is just revitalizing! What else can I say besides: Te amo querido!!

Seth is very gregarious and takes time to know you personally ,and lot of fun .

They call this guy the King if NY couch surfing and I believe it. A fellow southerner, he embodies everything good about growing up in a small town in the south. He is quite the ambassador for the south, and for New York City. This guy is the man.

I can't thank Seth enough for letting me crash at his apartment in NY, extremely last minute. He is a really cool, laid back dude who embodies the true spirit of CouchSurfing. He also has a nice apartment, and his couch is comfortable. Bottom line: meet Seth, ASAP.

when i went to a party at seth's place for the first time, i was a bit worried, because i felt bad crashing his party with three other friends and i didn't know him... after all, my friend raul told me not to worry cause "his place is like a hostel"...
so after this first party it took some time to get to now seth better (there are always so many paople you wanna talk to atrevival) but my first impression never changed: he is generous, really social and smart. and during the whole time hosting csers he only had one bad experience giving his keys away... ;-)

Super chilled and very generous, he opened up his home, converting it into the infamous Couch Crash Fest "Living Room" for an entire week! Good times, Seth - hope to catch you again.

Staying with Seth was a great pleasure and luck...You wouldn´t believe how many people love him and share his home and life with him and ...I was that lucky too!! We went together to a Revival and had a lot of fun :) ...A shame that last time I was too tired to keep partying...You feel very close to him as soon as you spend some time with him...and over all...

Seth and I met during a lot of meetings in NYC and he is a cool laid back guy. I always enjoyed his presence and his way to do things. He's so friendly and cool. I met Seth while I was in new York for work and got to hang out with him at a few events and his big B-Day party. The guys is super laid back and easy going. Always makes sure you have a good time and has one of the coolest veiws of the city from his place. I had a great time hanging with him and hope he will come to AZ and let me show him around here soon.
I ended up surfing his place one night and because I went there with a few other people I got the hobit couch, but still got a good nights sleep ;)
As soon as you meet Seth and see how cool and easy going he is, you understand why he is the CS ambassador for New York and has almost 100 vouches.

Seth is one of the most easy-going, chill people I've ever met. I had the best time in NY thanks to staying with him. I don't know how he does it, but he has an incredible nack for partying to all hours AND holding down a serious job! We BBQed, drank, partied, watched tv/movies, ate, and drank some more. He's so "tranquillo", kind, generous, warm and a perfect host. Everybody knows him and loves him. I'm so stoked he hosted me and really hope to see him again soon.... especially if I move to NY!! Seth is the older brother I always wish I had. He is the person I can always run to and hug no matter what happens...he is a loyal friend with a heart so huge that he can fit everyone in there. I want to have him in my life forever and ever and ever!!

One of my first New York CS-excperiences was at a party at Seth´s. Overcrowded apartment, but all with the best people in New York!
Seth is just really warm and welcoming, and it seems like his apartment is always open for CSer!

I can’t really say that I was Hosted by Seth, seemed to me that Seth was surfing with me in somebody else house. It was really great! Once I arrived in Seth house I fund myself into a community of truly friends and thinking of that in a city a like NYC is just amazing. Everybody should stay in Seth house, the New Yorkers too. I will share something that people may not to mention enough here: A great cook, super nice apartment in one awesome location, nice rooftop where we have enjoyed the july 4th fireworks, super easy to talk to.
We have came across many times but always miss each other. But it's someone you will HAVE to meet when you are in New York. yeah, he just that awesome.

Seth is very nice guy. He let me crash his couch twice during my NY stay.

Seth is the best person ever. I love him and want to bear his children ;-)

With Seth there just was this automatic sense of familiarity and comfort that resulted in dinner parties/Dexter marathons, jumping hugs, piggy back rides, Drunken Kickball, and continuous dancing at crazy bulgarian bars! Seth is the most sharing guy I ever met. He is super easygoing and if he is physically able he will help you out with a smile on his face. He also enjoys partying and I cant wait til its my turn to host him in Norway where I think we can cause som serious damage together (even though I know you are more a hotell kind of a guy, no excuses!)(:
In the future we are also planning to get married in Vegas for my greencard and his european passport.
Hope we will both meet again this autumn at octoberfest!

When people asks me about NYC it could be easier for me to describe the life I had the possibility to share with Seth and the others couch surfers living in his place. I crushed on his couch one night because probably I was soOoOOooo much asleep that I crumbled down dead and opened the eyes in the morning, when we met somehow the first time. The circustances of my stay there were more "anthropologicals" than discovering the city itself, but Seth understood silently this me. He is a good laid back person. I had such a great time thanks to him, his good humor, the barbecue, the revival and whatever else (it's a long list, believe me) and the possibility of being with him and stay in his place... I should just say that the hug I gave him leaving was really not enough. He represents my NYC. With the unicorn cap (ehehehheheeh)... HUGS from wherever I am now!!! YOU ARE GREAT!

I met Seth at a ridiculously fun Couchsurfing meeting in New York on St. Patrick's Day. I didn't have a place to stay that night and he was nice enough to offer me his couch to sleep on when we left the bars at shit o'clock in the morning!

UPDATE: I saw Seth again at a birthday get-together on Saturday. He has the incredible ability to make a bottle of Scotch Whisky disappear before your very eyes!

We had a great time at his place and he was really nice and showed and told us alot about New York.

Seth is one of the most motivated CSer at NYC, even at the last time, and not near, he was always coming ! From Karaoke to Restaurant, and he takes part of Revival of course. It was a pleasure to talk with him, he’s calm and friendly for it, but crazy for parties … :)

Seth is an exceptional human being. In fact, that might even be an understatement. Quite possibly the most generous giving bloke on the planet. I have "Surfed" with Seth so much here in NYC, that I should proobably pay him a couple of grand rent : P
I don't think I'd still be alive for this man. My time with him is up in a couple of days and I've come to love him like family (my husband to be exact) and I'm gonna miss him like crazy.
I'm forever in debt to him for everything he's done for me during my constantly extended stay in NYC, and I have to say, that you will be only lucky son of a @#$!% if your path in life crosses his.

Seth is one of those guys who is so nice that the first 4-5 times I think it’s some kind of act. But damned if he wasn’t still the same straightforward gentleman after seeing him week in and week out and even surfing his couch. Seth is a stand-up guy who I would trust with my mom, all my cash, my health, etc.

Mr. Wright Now proved to be quite an interesting and excellent first (CS) experience. :)

From a random e-mail sent in 2007 to nearly a whole year later with close encounters at Revival, I was finally able to lubricate Mr. Wright with gin+tonics - though I must say, he is a difficult person to track down at Revival! Seth is indeed the life of the party, a genuine sweetheart who wholly embodies the CouchSurfing spirit. He is as wonderful as all his references testify. :)

But watch out, ladies - he'll charm your pants off. XD
