Special Agreements

This is an agreement between you and CouchSurfing.com. It's needed for several reasons, most importantly protecting member information.

You might be thinking, "What's all this legal stuff about? I just want to volunteer and get some stuff done for CouchSurfing out of love for the project!"

No worries, friend. This is a standard thing to protect user data and keep CouchSurfing a safe and friendly place. For you to have access confidential member profile information (names, email addresses, addresses, passwords, etc.) and to make sure that CS's non-profit status is protected, we need to show our users that we are making every effort to hold every member of the CS organization accountable. So, please sign this document and we can get started.
