Roch is an interesting character. A bit of an enigma: a vagabound yet very housetrained; a rolling stone who gathers moss; a constant traveller who is both lost and found. Hope you find what you are looking for . . .

Over the past couple of years Roch and I have morphed our couch host/surfer relationship to friendship.
He's always been a very considerate guest; tidy, friendly, unimposing. He's also trustworthy, and trusting, having left me his car for a couple weeks while he was at film school. Granted I didn't drive it except to pick him up at the ferry! It was a bit of a scary contraption. ;-)
Roch has a wonderful sense of humour and I really enjoy spending time with him. I'm going to miss him while he's in China!
I'd recommend him as a couchsurfer, a host, and a friend. He's a wonderful guy!

He is a very cool guy and we share a bunch of similiar spiritual/creative interests. I think he's in Asia now and hopefully having a great time!

Oh, this crazily friendly guy's friendliness is amazing! I searched his face at my friend list in my brain upon first greeting, as if I met him before.
It's shame we sat on the opposite side of a huge chinese table and couldn't talk much!

I met Roch in a cafe in Kunming China. I can tell he is a traveller with a kind heart. Plus he is on couchsurfing too!

Great guy, somewhat shy but open to new experiences.

Eau la, eau la, eau la. Roch is wonderful, couch surfed with this vagabond in Vancouver at Luke Warmwaters place. Hardly noticed that we shared a small place. We both live here now and see each other occasionally.

What was to be a night's stay on my couch turned into barely an hour's visit. And then there was...THE ASSAULT! My cat Mito is a bad, bad cat. Baaad Kitty! He is responsible for possibly the shortest surfing/hosting experience EVER. Nevertheless, in that sliver of time, my potential Coucher made a decent impression. I would be open to "host" him "again" should The Cat be away at a boot camp, or jail. Or the cat-nuthouse!

Roch, je suis très, très désolé. Retournez s'il vous plaît autrefois quand Le Chat a lieu en vacances. Je pense qu'il est malade dans la tête.

Roch is imaginative, creative and positive. He is considerate and loves to laugh and have fun. A great guest to have around, even for a longer period.

Roch was my first Couch Surfer on Sept 28th 2007 . He came to my house and I was cooking dinner but realized that I didnt have a few ingrediants to finish cooking ... SO we crazy kids invaded safeway and came home and ate THANKS FOR THE RIDE !!!!!... We shared great conversation about travel and now roch wants to run away again as I gave him the travel bug and he wants to go on more vacations because I was looking at pic's that made him nostalgic for travel SORRY ROCH maybe I can join you want to come with me to Brazil??? GOOD LUCK for asia im sure you will have alot of fun where ever you go .... i wanna hear the story of the 3 pigs and the baboon that he told me that the little kids in Belize asked him to tell sounds interesting!!!!! ROch was a wondeful traveller to have as my first couchsurfer. He showed us indie films he made, we went to the Nelson Weekend market together and learned how to play the Jambays. Would be priveleged to have him again and hope nothing but the best for him.

I'd say, even under oath, that Roch is a good and low-maintance guest! Roch surfed my coach for 5 nights in early December. We had some deep, personal conversations and he's definately one of the people this site was created for. He's a drifter, much of a professional - if you ask i'm sure he's gonna grace you with the stories about traveling in a van throughout South America. Pretty challenging, huh?! You never have to clean after him and i'd consider him as someone credible and easy-to-cope with. Cheers maete!

Roch is a very interesting guy. He was just passing through Kitchener on his way out west and was very friendly with interesting stories. He also brought some tasty canned duck!

Roch is an inspiring person. I think that's one of the biggest compliments I can come up with. He is sensitive, intelligent, thoughtful.

I enjoyed my chat with him tremendously.

Roch is super original and enjoyable person who seems to thrive on moving about. We were in a group that did volunteer work in Ukraine. I met him again in Poland and he stopped in at my place in Revelstoke while travelling around the country.

Roch was great to share with. I really enjoyed hosting him and hearing his stories. He really opened me to the idea of couch surfing and meeting people this way. This is definetly a positive step towards peace and understanding between people.

Roch is so well travelled!He's been to so many places I've yet to dream of going, and I'm sure he'll go to many more. He left unscathed by our 3 cats, for which I am very glad!
