Callum is really great. He was willing to help me out when I was stuck in a tight situation (meaning suddenly found myself homeless and jobless) and everything he had he offered to share. Callum is an interesting character but always good for a laugh.

Callum is a fun guy, even when he is sober. He tried to get the girls to play strip poker while wearing 20 undies but had no takers. Really positive, cheerful chap who lives his life to the fullest. Waiting for him to appear in his kilt the next time eh? Cheers mate.

Callum is a nice Scottish lad, although his accent sounds like mine. I am jealous that he travels all the time and lives wherever, a true nomad! Although why would I want to leave my perfect Sydney?:)

We met with mutual friends . First time was in Kirstenbosch Botannical Park - Ismael Lo concert (from Senegal). It done, we met in Long Street - Cape Town and Ayanda's house.

I've met Callum in Cape Town and then hosted him in Johannesburg. He lives a very interesting and dynamic lifestyle, traveling from country to country with his laptop and has lots of exciting stories to tell. Callum is a very inspirational person and if you get a chance to meet him do so...he actually washed the dishes - I've tried to stop him :-) From the references I've read somehow I had the impression Callum is very wild character, however apparently he has stop drinking and smoking and I met him in his more mature chilled stage...Great straight-forward dude. While jiving to the soulFULL tunes of Ismael Lo I learnt that Callum is slightly accentric, has a quirky sense of humour and great fun.

hahha. i had a real blast staying at callum's. he is an awesome host (likes to talk to himself just like me) and he is a lot of fun to hang out with. he has a wicked sense of humor and does great accent impressions. we rode round on our scooters and he introduced me to a heap of really great people. thank you callum! hope to meet you again and of course you are welcome in vienna anytime.

Callum, despite rumors to the contrary ;-) , is a good guy. He means well in the end and treated my home nicer than I do. He won my roommate and I over with plenty of beer and entertaining conversation (in a southern accent) til 3AM. He'll be welcome back at my place anytime.

Callum came to our Xmas Eve get-together. Great open guy active in CS, who seems very open and warm. Surely a great choice for a surf or to host.

Callum was a great host. He gave me a tour of the red light district and showed me how to spot the difference between the girls and girls who used to be boys... Local knowledge is everything...
If your easily offended by crudeness he might not be your cup of tea.

I met Calum at a couchsurfing party he organised in vegas. We started off at a beer place near the university - then headed over to the rio for the 'big sleazy party'. I managed to get us all into the VIP room, where there was food and drink aplenty! Calum seems like a really decent chap - shame i wasnt able to host him as i allready had someone else staying.

He was the ideal guest! He took me to dinner, did dishes and even pitched in on the heating bill! Wow! He was very respectful and kind! I would gladly host him again! I hope to catch up with him and surf his couch!

Callum was a great addition to our potluck dinner. He has a very open personality and he offered lots of travel tips to those of us new to surfing.

At the Collective in New Zealand Callum upset our neighbors by noisily and drunkenly urinating in their yard on the way home from a party at 4am. The next day they formed a committee and came over to voice how upset they were. I would be uncomfortable having him on my couch as I'd rather not take the chance of him pissing in the yards of my neighbors.

Callum was really cool. He was so accomodating, even when I got to his apartment butt early in the morning after a long flight from Oz. He took me around Bangkok, introduced me to his friends and helped me get from place to place.
We had some good nights out too!
There were some blurry eyes on more than one occasion getting back from an evening of fun.

Callum was a really cool guy to hang out with who's got a lot of interesting stories to tell. I really hope that I get to know him more during his stay here!

I'd known Callum on-line for a while, because we were both involved in the whole OpenCS thing. Then when he came back to Edinburgh for the summer, I made sure to meet him in person too! Callum is a friendly and trustworthy guy, one both to have fun and talk serious with. We may not always agree on tactics, but we definitely agree on the cause! Catch you on the pirate seas matey, arrr.

Callum is a real friendly person that seems to have something interesting to say to everyone, and does a mean Glaswegian accent to boot ;) Hope to meet up with him again, everyone should be happy to get acquainted with Callum!

I had an amazing night at the CS Ceilidh in Edinburgh and was so happy to get to be Callum's partner for some of it. His travel and CS experiences are really interesting too. And he's got a great kilt!

It was great to finally meet Callum recently and get to know him a bit better! A true Scotsman, and despite his busy schedule Im sure his surfers would have a great Scottish experience staying with him. Without Callum's great dancing and organisational skills at the ceilidh during Edinburgh Rocks, many of the dances would have turned into cs chaos!

I met him at the ceilidh at Edinburgh Rocks and saw him at most of the other events as well. He seems like a super cool guy to hang out with, and Im sad I didnt meet him sooner in Edinburgh! My best memory so far of him is when he pretended to be a sheep dog in order to move his flock (the csers) to espionage club after the ceilidh.

we hugged people and each other at the Free Hugs in Edinburgh. then we wolfed down the best baked potatoes on the way to the picnic, chatting about travels and mnemotechnical techniques... super warm guy :)

I was just arrived to Edinburgh...just landed few hours before...and Callum grab me to dance the scottish Ceilidh!!!
at the beiginning I was so confused....I couldn't dance at all, I simply pretended to dance..;-) but Callum was really patient....the best teacher I could wish!!!

Callum the first CS friend I met. Even I couldn't talk english much but still he amazingly could make me laugh :D Also he taught me 'How to think out of the box' I feel so comfortable with him. Had a good time in Bangkok with Callum, although he was working during the day he gave us good tips!

I needed to get out more, and go out we did. Free shows at the Jazz Festival, 'cheap as chips' fish n'chips, a Free Hugs afternoon and a memorable birthday party... Callum got me out of my bubble, in a 'right time, right place', laid back but enthusiastic kind of way. Good times!

Surfed with Callum for a couple nights and enjoyed it! Very friendly, great location, and overall good guy. Can't you tell by the neverending list of references?!?!
