The Couch Surfing Collective has been an amazing experience for me. Even though I am a generation away from all these beautiful people, there is no distance. I truly feel welcomed and loved. My life is so much richer for this. I Love you all. Peace.

I've learned so much for a so short period of time. (Mostly english slang that Rachel teaches me on a daily basis). haha Feel like I've been living there for months now. I think only one word is needed to describe my life there: Intense.

The true reason I'm coming! Philosophy is speculation, Zen is participation. Participate in the night leaving, participate in the evening coming, participate in the stars and participate in the clouds;+1 color=red> make participation your lifestyle and the whole existence becomes such a joy, such an ecstasy. You could not have dreamed of a better universe.

Stopping in a few times before and then many more times 'during' the Crash, I feel as though I am an exponentially better person for having met the glorious team that is the CS MTL Collective. Everyone there inspired me to no end and it was amazing to see just how well so few people can work under so much pressure in so little time to accomplish so much. I owe my summer to these guys - they're the absolute greatest and I look forward to meeting back up with them upon my return! Thanks again for everything!!

Nice and friendly people. Provided me with nice dinner on 25 July upon my arival via Illinois (USA) from West-Europe.
Helped me out whith my (heavy) luggage, could even borrow a bike. Let me use their internet-computers for some time.
Got much more understanding for all the time and effort they and others put in the CS-project.

The collective was far more than I could have imagined. I excepted to pop in for two days, see what was happening and clean a few dishes. I stayed for five days and met some thought altering people who are individually intriguing and collectively "kick ass"

working on a dream come true. Have been there for only 2 days and to a really bad time... But anyway everybody seemed so happy and friendly and made me feel welcome, when I crashed the place without further notice. It was such a great experience to give a tiny little piece of ideas and work to tis big dream. Keep on working on that CS dream, you are all amazing! Lots of Cheers from Jess

It's not a thing, a person or a system that makes it.
It's a feeling.
Intangible... to the very core.
And the core is the seed that gives it life.

Remember when the Collective was just a small child trying to find its way in the world? Such hopes and dreams and ambitions. It was inspiring then even before the Collective galvanized and pulled off the greatest comeback in the history of the net. The Collective is full of amazing, incredible people. Visit for yourself and you will walk away with new friends and an expanded view of what is possible in the world.

Those members are simply awesome. Did you know that in 4 days they took the project from the ground up? Andnot being satisfied, and prolly having a bit of time on their hand, they decided to enhanced it bringing CS 2.0 alive!

The Countdown to the Couchtown Pilgrimage has Begun... July 25-31!!! I'm there! Will fly into Boston on the 24th, but then I need a ride to Montreal, and then back to Boston or New York on the 31st. I'm not a tekkie, just someone who's interacted extensively with the site and with a lot of wonderful people I've met through it, and have some strong opinions on improvements to the site and the vision for the collective. Am a renowned hairstylist, will be traveling to MT with supplies, but if you make me work on my vacation you gotta pay me some cash!

A key moment in CS History. The CSC is just one of those great event which you know will mark your life forever. Everyone I have met n there is just absolutely cool, each in their own special kind of way. Ive witnessed huige dedication, shared powerful emotions and created friendships that have and will have an impact on my whole existance. CSC is more then just a gathering of people working on CS, its like a new family. Much love to you all.

And for anyone reading this, this is only the beginning of CSC's, these will be more coming up. Dont hesitate and join them all around the world!
