What can I say, he is always welcome in my house, last time we unfortunately missed each other...but I think there will be anext time :)

I only got the chance to host Kasper one night but I got the impression that he's very calm and trustworthy. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to get to know him at some point, maybe on his next adventure?

It's been a while.. Met Kaspar in April in Amsterdam.. Great Host, me and a friend really enjoyed our stay und good vegan indian food** Cool and really uncomlicated!
If you ever want wo come to Augsburg or Oslo in the next months.. you're very welcome!

We met at least two time during some workcamp, talk together work together.
We are in regular contact

We met several times already - like at the BeWelcome unconference in Antwerpen or the BW general assembly in Essen. With his infatigable energy Kasper is always a great addition to any discussion and workshop and I consider myself a lucky person knowing him.

Apparently it is meant that I meet Kasper over and over again this year. The good thing about it is that it is always a pleasure to do so. In Antwerp he explained me how to use Wikis and thereby gave me the tool to leave a bigger impact. BIG THANKS!!! In Amsterdam we shared a dinner after he set me in contact with his friend Robin. A great character. We also played some jaw's harp there... whereby he was really good and I sucked. It was fun anyway. And last but not least I saw him again on the BBC this year. Far too short I have to admit but looking back on what he did for me already, I am seriously looking forward to meet him again. And I'm sure it will happen, one way or the other. Cheers mate, I'm happy to know you.

Guaka did a lot for the hitchhiking and hospitality communities. Why? If Kasper is onto something, he sticks. Be happy for that as he is very creative mind, a great friend and very eclectic. Kasper is able to move quickly, he is excellent in finding his way in the wild, he can be easily inspired by others and knows how to inspire others by simply doing.

Kasper is an outgoing and interesting person who is a good conversationalist and an experienced traveler.

Without the shadow of a doubt, one of the most interesting individuals I've met through hospitality exchange networks. Kasper has a deep knowledge of a series of highly interesting topics, from computer programming to sound theory, from linguistics to intellectual property and copyright laws; but he's also involved in a wide range of projects, including social networks, wikis, and who knows what else. Being an experienced traveller, he was able to share a bit of what he learned between a drink in town, a ride to the city, a chat with his Finnish guests and friends. I wonder where we are going to meet in the future.

Kasper is just one of those inspiring people.
We organized a free hugs campaign in Amsterdam and had a lot of fun hugging the whole city.
This guy has a lot of inspiring travelling experiences to share with us. Nice one!

Kasper.. thanks for your big help during my short hectic stay in A'dam. You are super helpful, friendly and easy going guy that will remind me of you everytime I think about A'dam especially the bicycle ride thru the city chasing the bus, lol:-) Wish I have more time there but there's always next time. He gave me several free hugs in the Dam Square; then he cooked for us some veggie (and spicy!!) food at Robin's appartment; and finally we drank a few beers. Kasper is one of the real jewels in the Am*Dam CS community. Do not miss the chance to meet him in person. Carpe Diem, J

Kasper spend one night at my place in Santa Fe. He is a very very interesting person, knows a bit of everything. I could play his strange musical instrument. (sorry for not writing this before!) Hope to meet him again any time!

Casper is an amazing host. He picked me up from the station, made sure I was alright and even gave a ride in his bike to catch a night tram that I would have missed otherwise! LOL! Also he hangs out with the best bunch of people you´d ever wish to meet!

Behind this calm and soft appearance, I think there is a very open, socially intelligent, sweet, reliable, risky, careful, ice-breaking,adventurous, spontaneous, moment loving, pretty, legere, world forming, wild, crazy, musical, veggie person. Wish to have more of some crazy guitar & cooking sessions with you !

It was nice meeting Kasper. He is a very nice conversation partner and has done a lot of hitchhiking, which I find very intresting! I feel definetly excited about meeting him again on a Amsterdam meeting some day!

When looking at him first time I thought where do I know him from...
Later thinking made me realize that I know him from online groups where he posts.
He has a great spirit of hospitality and whatever the network is I look forward to meet him more anyway.

Kasper is very easy-going and free-spirited. He offered such an amazing breakfast(vegan and organic) every morning. Even though I am not a vegan, I fell in love with everything, especially vegan paté!
We had great time walking through the park and wondering around the town. He made my stay more enjoyable for sure. Thanks!

From the few talk we had, I can say he's a great man! A pity he's moved away from Trento.

I am happy Kasper came to the meeting and stayed at my place...I am sure I'll meet him soon again, we almost nabours and I need to see Trento:)!!!

Kasper is not the same!

his u.f.o. landed, he stepped out, greeted the earthlings around him, said a few words and stepped back into the craft and flew away. what he didn't know was that i had planted a device on his transport unit that would allow me to interfere with his brain waves. my ray emitter would from then on influence his every move and word. just subtle enough to not be noticed by anyone. we had established a permanent, yet loose link. mind: this information is classified as for your eyes only.

Kasper is the real globe-trotter! When we first met in Florence I was fascinated by his travel tales around the world. I tried to follow his hitchhiking hints...but I was waiting in the street for hours!

kasper is a great guy, genius and naive at the same time. he always has a big smile on his face, trento will not be the same without him...

Met him in Florence during CS meeting. He's very interesting, funny and smart.
He can also play "maranzano" , typical sicilian instrument!

We celebrated NYE together with a bunch other CS's in Rome. A really fun and interesting guy! :)

Clad that i had a change to meet "The Kasper" finally! :)

Kasper came up to Florence for a CS meeting and surfed our couch-away-from-home for a couple nights. Super smart and very intent on the couchsurfing philosophy. Good guy to know, I promise.

I traveled with Kasper for over a year. We've surfed on hundreds of couches together, on four continents; we've hosted people in the various places that we've lived, as well. At his best, Kasper is a funny, playful, charming, ridiculously tall Dutch boy. He learns languages quickly, is extremely easy-going, and is a skillful operator of computers and musical instruments. He has strong convictions, and firmly stands up for what he thinks is right.

At his worst, he sometimes has a tendency to take the things in life for granted. After seeing so much of the world, it's no wonder that he's a bit dazed. And, please, whatever you do-- don't let him drink too much! He also has a bad habit of making stupid decisions.

But, I have mostly good things to say about this person, who I have spent so much time next to in this past year. He means more to me than anyone else.

Kasper is really very friendly and hospitable, he seems so calm and quiet that exteriorize his good feelings. he is at the same time very easygoing and openminded person, he belive totally in this club, cose he is completely inside it. 100% trustworthy,100% recomended & 100% couchsurfer...

Kasper is a character worth going out of your way to find. When it comes to hospitality, he is as relaxed and open as they come. When it comes to licking the melted chocolate and fried banana residue off the bottom of the pan, count on him. When it comes to extended ecomobile hours, he will deliver. He is a giver. We had a lot of fun with Kasper!! He is a very intelligent person who always gets into situations that bring funny stories and adventures.. like with the EcoMobile! hope i'll see you again somehow!

Short meeting but good times--Kasper doesn't share any resemblence to a ghost. and he was so nice to lend me $$ when my wallet disappeared!

We enjoyed hosting Kasper and Amylin, maybe we will visit them in Italy someday!

Kasper and Amylin is a peaceful, artful couple. They are nice guests who clean the room, wash sheet, buy new grocery stuff when they leave. It's interesting to meet people who deeply participate in CS community like them.

He is generous, great traveller. It was fun to cook, live, eat, go out, take our time. So, I know quite well he is easy-going, interesting and funny chap. Probably a good film director in the future. When you meet ask him about cream.

Being hosted by these lovely people was an extremely positive experience. We had the biggest care, we never were thirsty, hungry or cold during the time we stayed with them. Wish we spent more time there and saw the cool cars ;)

Kasper is very knowledgable CS member who taught me about how CS system work that why I created my "Thailand, Cambodia and Laos Adventure Tours" Both Kasper and Amylin were really power saving CS, they didn't turn air-con on, may be they come from a cold country. We wish you guy a successful and prosperous life in Italy.

I can't believe how many languages this guy knows and he's always up for learning more, even the most unnecessary words like "mungiga"! ;) At the same time I was there he and Amylin where also hosting three Lithuanian girls and they even treated us with delicious vegan food and took us to the centro sociale. Plus they shared some really interesting stories. Really cool people! Would have stayed longer if I hadn't been sick and sensitive to the hot weather.

Kasper is simply incredible. I emailed him at the last minute, and he was a yes!

I have been on/off contact with Kaspar for about a year, so I was excited to finally meet him at the Berlin Beach Camp '07. We didn't get a chance to speak much, but it's apparent that he is passionate about what he believes in, is very idealistic and has solid values. Perhaps his dreams are too utopian for CouchSurfing. Even so, I'm glad he still tries to achieve them via BeWelcome.

he slept out back. was passing through with two friends. very nice folk, open to morning conversation - evening activities. helped me back my car out of the drive, so i wouldnt hit a car.

When I was looking for a couch in Trento, Kasper did everything possible to help me out.
And then, while in Trento we met a few times. A really great experience to meet him.

Kasper's a dedicated advocate of do-ocracy, transparency and really wants to make the world a better place through intelligent approaches. He's an asset as a volunteer for any organization that shares these values - unfortunately CS does not :(

He's an expert linguist, considerate nomad, vegetarian, musician, intellectual and who knows what else :) - can't wait to find out with less of the organizational context and more space for a true friendship to form!

Wiki guru and open mind and spirit. I don't believe what CS people said about him and I support his dreams to make the world an open space.

I've known Kasper from many online conversations and we finally met on the Berlin Beach Camp 2007. He then stayed at my place with lovely Amylin and we had a long night with intense and inspiring conversations. Kaspers relaxed and openly friendly attitude make him a great guest and coversationalist and his passion for social responsibility and making this world a better place totally agrees with me. They were totaly uncomplicated guests and are always welcome in my home!

Kasper is an idealist who believes in sharing information with the world. He's friendly, warm, and funny. I really recommend getting to know him as a friend.

Kasper and Amylin came to Guilin for a few days and were lovely and really interesting to spend time with- they opened our eyes to hitchhiking and more about couchsurfing and gave us loads of advice about travelling round S E Asia. And cheers for all the vegan food it was delicious! Good luck with all your future travels... See you in Europe!

Very nice experience with them when they stayed with me. They cooked and we just felt as flat mates then just couchsurfers. Kasper and Amylin both were very friendly nature and very interesting to talk to. we had a good time even though it was short. Had good chat and they have many good qualities that one can look for good friends.

Well do not believe the photos... Psychoboy is actually akin to a genius with a razor-sharp mind, a knack for languages, and a laziness that even a tropical monkey would envy. Lotsa fun, great conversations, great time altogether... We'll meet again Kasper. I am sure of that!

Goofy Dutch guy. "Kind", "funny" and "sincere" are three words I would use to describe Kasper. He is the most genuine guy I have ever met - what you see is what you get! We travelled South America together for five weeks, it was a lot of fun. There was never a dull moment with his jokes and goofy ways! and he had a lot of patience with my fussy and "jet-setting" ways.

We met first in Laos, then in China again and Kaspar helped us out because we couldn't get any money from the bank...
It was very interesting to meet and also to hear som stories from the collective...

It was nice to meet up with him. You can have interesting talks and discussions about everything. Truely a wikipediamanic :) keep going....

I have enjoyed the company of Kasper in 2 countries now. He is a man of many and few words, with a big heart and guitar skills to boot.

Kasper is Amylin's wetter half. As the tides keeps the moon orbiting around the Earth, Kasper prevents Amylin from whirling into outer-space and bumping into things like comets. Like the ocean, he is relaxed & inviting, but he can have his moments of fury--like when crowds of obnoxious Asians are trying to pull him into their bars to see girls playing with ping-pong balls and bananas.

This guy is amazing, he is interested in so many different languages ! that is exactly the kind of curious and full-of-knowledge person I enjoy meeting :) Пока друг !

I had fun talking to Kasper. We went to Kaosarn road along with other 6 surfers. It was such a fun night.
