well unfortunally i met Joao only one day but i really liked to host him in my place.
He is that guy who are always smiling and with interesting stories.
I took him to a place that we used to go on summer time on the way to costa do sol beach.we call it Calcadao like In Brazil.

Joao has the most positive attitude--making the best of a stay at the beach after breaking his ankle! seemed a reserved but interesting character until the lights went down and DJ Nasty Crutch came out for the birthday celebration. A great, one-legged dancer :)

hey yo - how is it overthere ?
finally i joined it few days ago.

after that day , i seperated with masa , cuz i supposed to go to the gambia to learn instrument , masa supposed to go to mali. but anyway he didnt go there, finally we stayied 2weeks more in the gambia . i learnt djembe for 2weeks and i learnt kora for 5weeks overthere.
im sure if you see those people who is traditional musician overthere, you will like to be with them .

so , eventually i arrived in Madrid yesterday . when i was in Dakar i stayed David's house as well .

he is really nice guy as you told me .

It was great hosting him and he was right at home everywhere I took him and with everyone I introduced him to.

Well he is quite an amusing person and always ready to build an interesting conversation. If you happen to meet him , be prepeared to be greeted in your own language.He surely does his homework b4 he meets everyone.

João Aguiar is a realy nice guy. I meet him while his stay in Jo'burg and I directly liked his attitude.."oh, I don't know how long I want to travel around the world, maybe 2 years, maybe a week" -great to do his own thing. I mean what more must I say about a portuguese guy who likes "Fuechse" from the german band Absolute Beginner,... he must be a cool person, no other chance.

we met at a dinner with other couchsurfers in Joburg, he looks very genuine and very curious, definitely good company. and hey, he's the youngest ugly kid joe fan ever! good luck with the rest of your journey mate.

I hosted Joao for four days and found him to be an extremely nice guy and also very interesting! I admire him as he is travelling the world in one go, and that is something I'd very much like to do one day! Joao I'l meet you in Portugal for sure! Happy travels...

The infomation he was carrying is amazing!
We met in the port because we were using same bag!! And worked around island together, met up next day in dakar again and hang around together again!

What a shame that I only met João for a short time, he's a really friendly and warm person, and I'd like to know more about him and Portugal! Although he couldn't host me, he still invited me to his birthday party. I was there talking with his friends and helping to make dinner, though I didn't have time to taste what we made...haha. That was a cool party! Just visit me in Lyon or Taipei, João!

João is definitely a person with the cs spirit, always willing to help, is a smart, open-minded, open-heart person, if you have the chance go and meet, I consider him the trusworthy friend a person can have. Joao is just amazing!Full of good vibes, optimistic and strong positive energy to discover the world and to do many social and cultural things! I have to say that João is one of the purest and more well-intentioned people I have ever met. Friendly, happy, funny, open-minded, and full of initiative and ideas, your couch will be happy to meet him, and it will be difficult to find a better host!

I met Joao in a nice bar in Lisbon, and we started to talk, also with his couchsurfer Sophie, thanks to the common interest---> Couchsurfing! (I was talking with another cs member...)
He seems (and I think is) a funny and smart guy...probably we'll see soon for a CS Dinner or something else! Fica bem!

Wow, I don't think that I can get any more positive about this guy!! João put up with my inability to pronounce his name and took me in like a good friend. He makes you feel immediately comfortable in his presence. He is very interested, curious, intelligent, thoughtful and caring. I'd hope he wouldn't mind me calling him a good friend. I've meet João when he was around 14 at summer camps! He was also a freshman at my Univ. He's a cool a nice fellow.

João is a very chilled and great guy. Good for hanging out and having some nice laughts. If you like sound, he is the man to look for!
