About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Throw off the bowlines.

ABOUT ME

My father is a pilot, so traveling has been a big part of my life from a young age. I love being in motion and being challenged. I took a semester off during undergrad to travel through Egypt, India, Nepal, Thailand, and Japan. I moved to the West Bank last fall and spent four months teaching music to elementary-aged students. I spent the next summer in Japan teaching English, and then I moved to Toronto. I lived in Portland, OR, for a year, and now I'm off to travel with my partner!

I love animals, kids, good food, good music, and good company.

PHILOSOPHY

I know that I'll be okay whatever I end up doing with my life, and I'm trying to learn to snap up opportunities as they are presented. "I'm only passing through this life once, therefore let me do as much good as I can while I'm in it."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell all my friends about CS and I hope some of them decide to give it a shot -- because after all, fear makes strangers out of people who should be friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've surfed in the Caymans and in Bethlehem, they were each very interesting experiences! I wish I could host more, but life situations (roommate or landlord requirements have prevented me from hosting!
