About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am a part of all that I have met. Through travelling, I hope to gain a better understanding of myself and how I fit into this crazy world. So far it's working!

ABOUT ME

OK...I live in a great place, I have a great job, I have a lot of great friends, I enjoy a bunch of great hobbies, and my health is good, so I even feel great. So really, I guess I'm great! :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Well, of course I subscribe to the classics like "Do unto others, as you'd have them do unto you" and "Do no harm" but I also like this quote from Marilyn Monroe that kinda sums up at least a part of my view of life: "I am not interested in money. I just want to be wonderful". I also like "Life is short so make it as deep and wide as possible". But mostly, I believe "We're all in this together" and "Live long and prosper". And of course..."Cheers!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up to now, just surfing occasionally, but mostly just spreading the word. So now, I think it's time to try hosing a bit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a party to the hosting of eight surfers while I was visiting Nova Scotia, that's how I first learned about CS. I did what I could to help make their stays enjoyable and rejuvenating. I know what it's like to be on the road.

Interests

Sunshine, good coffee, making breakfast, meeting friends, practicing the bass, studying the piano, learning German (and also a bit of French), and naps.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like mostly inspiring themes, not a fan of gratuitous violence or anything requiring too much suspension of disbelief. Most fantasy films and book don't do anything for me. And for music, I like anything that doesn't suck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2008 I rode my bike from Brattleboro Vermont all the way to Liverpool Nova Scotia. In the middle I got robbed, made the headlines and put a lot of wonderful memories under my belt.
