CURRENT MISSION Life on the road. ABOUT ME Currently quasi-nomadic with Portland Oregon being home base. I'm genuine in my talk and actions. I tend to be spontaneous, open minded, and a fairly extroverted type a person. I am very curious about other people and what life has to offer. Always ready to have a good time, and constantly craving more knowledge. I'm learning how to incorporate my two career passions of urban planning and video production... with a dash of community art. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've slept on many friends couches over the years, and I once even surfed Chuch Wollery's couch! (yes, the Love Connection host) I've hosted some wonderful people through CS and surfed at a handful of amazing people's homes in europe through CS... THANKS everyone!

Music: jam music, folk music, rock, even hip-hop now and again. Books: The Drifters, Jitterbug Perfume, Ishmael, The Fountainhead, The Alchemist, Johnathon Livingston Seagul, The Monkey Wrench Gang, Carfree Cities & Suburban Nation (both urban planner type books)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Hard to top skiing 3 feet of powder in steep Utah back country. Seriously, I remember the first time I skied in that much new snow I had to stop and revel in the moment. It was sureal.
My Interests
The urban environment fascinates me. I'm also interested in sustainability issues- we need to pay more attention to how we impact our places and other people. I'm a people watcher; there are so many interesting people out there to meet and learn from. I love biking, skiing, and general outdoor recreation. Music is super important- I go to a lot of shows and muddle around with the guitar a bit myself. Of course, travel is a passion, and I'm constantly thinking about my next big trip, whatever and whenever that may be.
