ABOUT ME By travelling around the world I am combining my two passions for political science and diverse cultural understanding of contemporary problems. Problems all people share in an increasingly globalised world. Seeing the world through multiple lenses helps me to understand the importance of differentiated political systems and national motivations. I believe that multiple positions, reasons for problems and consequent behaviours can only be understood through a thorough understanding of other cultures. In order to personally challenge Huntington's sombre vision of 'clashing civilisations' I constantly build new friendships across national borders. I believe that the more we know of each other, the more we see how similar we are. We might eat, speak and think differently but the most fundamental and important traits of humans are similar and should be reason enough for a peaceful future. I'm looking forward to meeting people and new ideas to embrace peaceful international pluralism. I enjoy creative conversations great ideas and the explanations why they can be realised as much as a good old standard fashioned joke. So, do know that one?
