CURRENT MISSION To find my true passion. ABOUT ME I was an Art Director/Designer for consumer magazines in the U.S.A. for more than 15 years. I still work in the field a bit but decided that I needed a break from my life in Illinois so I accepted a position as an English teacher at a pubic Middle School on Jeju Island in South Korea. I really like it here, it's a relaxing and beautiful place to spend a year or two. After I leave, I might go back to the States to finish Grad School and who knows where I'll end up from there? I'm enjoying life and trying to stay stress-free for a while.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Jeju is a sub-tropical resort island that is very popular among Asian tourists. It's a beautiful place with many things to see and do. If I could host people and offer a couch here I would gladly do so, but I'm living in a one-room apartment with only a double-bed. If anyone is willing to sleep on my heated floor, that's okay with me. If not, I'd be willing to show people around the island and take them out for some Korean food. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I'm currently couch surfing in Vienna for the first time and loving it! My host is fantastic and I'm looking forward to a fun day of exploring with my camera.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
There are just so many, I don't know where to begin. Every trip I've been on has taught me so much about the world that we live in.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to teach people about graphic design, and anything that they want to know about the publishing industry. I'm looking to learn more about photography and the communication styles of other cultures.
My Interests
Photography, writing, graphic design, meeting new people from many varied cultures, exercising, and reading.
