CURRENT MISSION To see the world and to bring the world to us. ABOUT ME Neal and Christina are an engaged couple in their early thirties with a cat and a dog. We are really into the arts and enjoy theatre, music, comedy clubs, and dance. We also enjoy the outdoors and museums. Our friends are very similar. On a Saturday night you are more likely to find us playing pool at the corner bar than at a dance club. A pint and conversation are better than thumping bass any day. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We had a great couch surfing experience in the UK and hope to host some travelers ourselves. We do like to do a lot of weekend excursions so be sure to give us plenty of advance notice if you need a couch.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies/tv: Comedies, independent, thrillers, mysteries, sci-fi. Big fans of Dr. Who, Torchwood, Buffy, Firefly, and Battlestar Galactica (yes, we are kind of geeky) Books: all kinds, currently reading a bio of Nikola Tesla. Music: Indie, dance/techno, industrial, rock, nerdy rock.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Neal: Spending a summer atop a mountain in Colorado surrounded by amazing scenery and beautiful music. One of the most breathtaking places I've ever been. Christina: Death Valley in California was amazing. The colors were so intense. My favorite place is and always will be Portand, Oregon.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can show you the cultural aspects of the Twin Cities. Christina could show you how to screenprint, sew a pattern, and make crafty things. Neal could fix your computer, teach you how to do improv comedy, and share some tasty recipes.
