Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have hosted dozens and dozens of people. I've met some really cool people through CouchSurfing. My wife and I have also surfed in a lot of places. In the age of AirBNB, I think it is really important to remember that not everything in life is about money. Hosting travelers truly as guests in your home is really important! Nowadays, we don't host or surf very much, but I am hoping to use CouchSurfing to meet more people.
