About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To build a business that will eventually allow me to work remotely and then go back to school for what I’m truly passionate about (without loans ;))
ABOUT ME
I am a fun loving person, and I am open to new adventures or ideas. I am easy to get along with, and I always am interested in meeting new friends! I enjoy conversing with people about what they’re truly passionate about, and I love trading travel stories, or any stories! I lived and traveled outside of the United States for 1.5 years, and I’ve lived in Colorado and Nevada, but I am back in Minnesota (for now).
vccPHILOSOPHY
I think that it is important to experience all different cultures rather than staying in one spot for your whole life. I think the fear of the unknown causes a lot of people to miss out on life-changing experiences, and personally, I definitely do not want to miss out on those!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I’m on couchsurfing, because I love traveling on a budget, and the best way to explore a new place is with the locals! I was able to host a couchsurfer at my apartment while he was in Minnesota, and it was a great time. My friend and I were able to show him some parts of Minneapolis, and we got along very well! I plan on starting an adventure in the near future, and I think that the locals are important to talk to/spend time with since they are familiar with the culture and are able to show you around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met with a man from Berlin while I was visiting Chicago by myself. We met up to get a couple of beers and listen to music at a venue. We went to Six Flags the following day, and I really enjoyed his company.
Interests
I like to do a lot of things in my spare time, especially in the summer. I love hiking, camping, traveling, water activities, and game nights with friends. I really enjoy learning, and I know there is a lot to learn from people all around the world. I love meeting new people and experiencing different settings. I strongly believe that you need to put yourself out of your comfort zone in order to grow as a person and gain knowledge about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of movies, especially horror movies, but I'm kind of cynical when it comes to horror movies. I really enjoy mystical-like shows and movies, because I enjoy being taken to a different world when I watch them. I really just enjoy any movie that can keep my attention, so I would be willing to watch any movie that could do that.
I can appreciate all types of music outside of newer country, but electronic music has a special place in my heart and soul. It’s music that I can dance to regardless of the mood I’m in, and it brings me on a journey of emotions without the use of lyrics. I find it magical and therapeutic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed with a Fijian family in their village, and they showed my traveling friends and myself the most loving home for the time we were there. We shared kava and stories in the kava circle, and they welcomed us into their home and refused to let us help them cook or clean. They were super sweet, and became our Fijian family.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am extremely fascinated by the brain and it's functioning. I think that it is important because it controls our movements, thoughts, perceptions, emotions, motivation, and well, everything! I plan to continue learning about it, and I know a few of the basics, but I hope that someday I will be able to contribute something to the field of neuroscience. Although this is still true, I also have enjoyed my time traveling. I feel like it is an addiction once you get out there! I would love to share traveling experiences! Also, I love discussing controversial topics with those that are open-minded, because I don’t believe that disagreements need to lead to polarization.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking, so I can always share that, but most of the time it is an experiment, so there are no guarantees that it will be good. I welcome, and am very open-minded to, new experiences, so I am willing to try new things. I enjoy conversing about random topics and understanding others' perceptions, so I don't think it would be difficult to find something to talk about.
