Music: Bright Eyes, Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Tribe Called Quest, Jurassic 5, Old Man Ludeke, Coldplay.... I love music. Movies: Life Aquatic, American Psycho, Equilibrium, Batman Begins, Ong Bak, Amelie, I (heart) Huckabees, Hero, Donnie Darko.. but really, I just spent two years living with a filmmaker so this list is by no means exhaustive. Books: Perfume - even the movie was good, Religion and the Decline of Magic - the reason I became an Historian, The Sacred Balance by David Suzuki - a national hero or anything by Salman Rushdie - he changed my life. I am also a fan of Y the last Man, or anything by Bill Sienkiewicz, TS Eliot, e.e. cummings and WB Yeats - and not just 'cause we're related.

Super crafty - drawing, knitting, sewing, crosstitch, whittling, jewelery... if I haven't learned it yet, I want to. I believe my plan for global domination rests on my ability to marry science and religion - in light of this I have made a point of studying all manner of pattern detection from quantum mechanics to astrology.
