Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I host people and go to meetings in the rare gaps between different travels. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Surfed a few of my mates couches before I found a place to stay after high school, lots of Europe surfing. Try to, but usually fail at meeting up for CS gatherings. Hosted a heap of people in lots of different flats.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Met people, Saw some places, Ate lots of food, drank a lot of wine. Hit-and-run by a truck in Croatia, woke up a week later, strolled straight out of the hospital to a vending machine. Got taken back inside. Australian Army. Royal Military College Duntroon. I can fix anything with with a pair of old pliers and zip-clips, MacGyver-style Cycled the entire Carretera Austral with no rain!

Never think you are overly superior in anything, especially travel. Your experiences are for you. You cannot say they are better than anyone else's experiences. In my opinion there are too many big ego, vain tourists and travellers around.
