CURRENT MISSION Nurse Practitioner on a Navajo Reservation. ABOUT ME I've had a variety of jobs and lived or worked in several countries. Currently, I'm a nurse practitioner in an Emergency Department and Urgent Care on a Navajo reservation. I believe in responsible travel with an eye towards the effects of tourism on local populations and the environment, trying to minimize harm done to either while promoting understanding, tolerance, and compassion among all people at all times. AS YOUR GUEST: Mostly I need a place to sleep. I will spend all of the daylight hours wandering about. I love meeting people so would love to hear your story! I am very flexible and clean Guest. AS A HOST : My work schedule is interesting - six 12 hour shifts, followed by 8 days off. I'm happy to host as time allows. Or if you happen to travel through Chinle & would like to meet, I love showing people around. My availability depends on my work schedule. PHILOSOPHY Appreciate what you have, be able to do without Enjoy the moment, prepare for the future Don't take the future for granted Give others the benefit of the doubt Expect more from yourself than you do of other people Find the thing that's beautiful Other people, curiosity about the future make life worth living Don't get upset about the little things (they're almost all little things)
