ABOUT ME

I guess I am one of those curious people who'd never stop exploring the world and looking for answers (read between the lines - asking a lot of questions and starting long discussions on any topic). I was fascinated by the visions of Amelie from the movie "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" and just like her I try to create my own world and look for the good traits in every person. Although it doesn't always work out. But don't get me wrong, I love cynisism and I enjoy life's irony more than I'd enjoy any romantic story. And one last remark - I love singing and dancing no matter where I am, completely ignoring the fact that I'm not a talanted singer at all - I think sometimes itlooks quite funny when I have my ear phones in my ears at the bus stop and I forget about the rest of the world. But who cares? I don't.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly sheltering couchsurfers passing through Nuremberg.
In July and August 2007 I also made my first trip as a couch surfer through Scandinavia and explored not only what the IKEA couches look like, but also how the showers in every country work (means that unvoluntarily I took a few cold showers before figuring out how to adjust the warm water). And I'm trying to participate in as many CS meetings as possible. :-)

Surfed numerous couches, spare mattresses, floors and tents in Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.

Participated in plenty of local and international meetings in Germany, France, Finland, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland and Norway, whereby helped organizing "The Big Franconian Meeting" in Nuernberg/Erlangen 2007 and 2008.

Música, películas y libros

Some of my favourite movies: Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Dogma, Y tu mama tambien, most of Almodovar's movies and last but not least after my Simpsons and Futurama phases I'm now addicted to South Park.

One of my favourite books: The Picture of Dorian Gray.

As for music - I like trip-hop, breakbeat and downtempo. My favourite band is probably Massive Attack. I also love music with ethnic motives. Actually I like almost everything except for mainstream and country music. Any good beat that makes one move or relax, depending on the mood. And I love dancing!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I faked my own wedding - bridegroom, wedding dress, guests, party, flowers ... just to take some pictures and upload them on facebook to see people's reaction. :-) It was a perfect wedding though, if I ever marry for real I wish I had a wedding as good as my fake one.

I took part in La Tomatina festival in Spain in August 2008. That's may be the craziest thing I've seen in my life. :-)
