CURRENT MISSION pay attention, be grateful, work to relieve suffering, and enjoy the journey ABOUT ME I like to be very mindful of the choices I make. I used to be very disciplined about my Vipassana meditation practice, (www.dhamma.org) which involves a strong determination to not cause harm to myself or others. Recently, this determination has led me to take a break from meditating. I like to contribute when I am traveling by doing chores, cleaning, making gifts, sharing ideas, making jokes, offering performances, etc. I love making improvisational theater & dance. PHILOSOPHY I believe in fully embracing the truth of this particular moment as it presents itself. I believe in striving so that all beings may be happy.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm just beginning to explore CS2. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've "couch surfed" quite extinsively all over North and parts of South America. I especially loved staying at an independent media activist's collective in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, a community youth center in Qosqo, Peru, my friends' Thatcher & Meg's wedding in Wisconsin, etc. etc. etc. I almost always find travelling to be both nourishing and challenging in all the right ways. The beautiful humbling simplicity of living out of a backpack and sharing someone's domestic rituals.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have looked into the eyes of my father and realized how deeply I love him and how little I need to hide from him.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about early childhood education, experimental theater, contact improvisation dance, living simply, spontaneous play, heart circles, organization, and kind reflective listening. I would love to learn building, carpentry, permaculture, and wilderness survival skills.
