Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I believe that local perspective in any place is priceless for any traveler. Who wants to be a "tourist", anyway? ;) I participate by being there for Couchsurfers. According to my availability, I try to participate in the meetings and meet couchsurfers on the road at least for a drink, show around town. When I travel, it is not always that I need accommodation. Nevertheless, I would love to meet fellow couchsurfers abroad. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I think I've been "couchsurfing" from very young age, not through this particular project, but with the same philosophy. It all comes down to moments that are stuck in my mind forever and are always the ones to bring the smile on my faces. Some of those from my life would be: ... Spending all night long in a flat in Baltimore, smoking shisha, talking about purpose of life and learning "basic Baltimorese". ... being treated a "local" in Outer Banks, North Carolina, partying hard with people before the tourists come ... Sitting outside the train station in Luxembourg chatting with two Americans who also got stuck in this town and that kept our waiting not so long and boring. ... Hitch-hiking in a snow plow to the centre of Aarhus, Denmark (my friend Jade on CS can tell, hehe). ... Seeing how an Indian friend is bargaining in the market of Delhi and learning the skills ... knowing that there are people who care for you, no matter how far they are from you right now.
Music, Movies, and Books
For sure I will not mention all my faves - just the ones on the top of my mind. Too many! Music is my passion, i listen to A LOT. MOVIES: "Hors de prix", "Trainspotting", "Amelie Poulain", "The Beautiful Mind", "The simpsons", "Moulin Rouge", ohh... there is just too many to menton! The recent of my top is "Intouchables" BOOKS: M. Gladwell "The Tipping Point", "Blink" P. Arden "It's Not How Good You Are, But How Good you want to be", "Whatever You Do, DO The Opposite". I am a big fan of Paul Arden, actually.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Done: singing in a band. Seen: Taj Mahal before and during the sunrise. Amazing view, when you see the sunbeams slowly filling up the coloured marble in the building.

I think most of the things I can share are visible from my profile... :) Painting i can teach. I can be a personal coach to someone. Many more :) I'm actually a trainer so I can do a training on communcations or creativity. I am eager to learn to cook.
My Interests
People: genuine interest. Nice conversations are the best memories and discoveries! Arts: I intensively paint nowadays, holding exhibition once in a while. this is boosting my creativity. color matching talent is natural for me :) I paint, and if i had no bills to pay, I would paint even more :) Music: I have music for every step of my life - it's like a never ending soundtrack.
