About Me

We are a young-ish married couple dedicated to travel, adventure, and meeting good people! Hubby (Jacob) is a baker at our local French bakery and loves culinary arts, the History Channel, Anthony Bourdain, GOOD beers, and sports-sports-sports! Wifey (Crystal) is a photographer and ESL teacher, and loves languages, art, photo booths, GOOD beers, and road trips! We're currently planted down in Lincoln, NE for awhile after a few years of living (and working) in Japan and Ukraine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Found 5,000 euros in cash in Venice and proceeded to use it for further frolicing around Europe...

Teach, Learn, Share

1. You have more in common with people from other states/countries/cultures than you think.

2. Letting go of your fears (the ones instilled in you by your parents and the media) is the first step in creating an awesome, active CouchSurfing community.
