This is my first job, which I do not really enjoy at this moment, but it gives me financial independency, so that I can do what I like in my spare time! I love working with kids... organizing activities with and for them! I am happily alive when I see them smiling and enjoying the time spent together. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I experienced the pleasures of meeting and hosting foreigners before knowing couchsurfing exist and what is all about. It all started after I came back from France. I spent half an year in Grenoble as an Erasmus student and even though I travelled a lot in France, I saddly realized I knew almost nothing about its people... So I decided to change this for the foreign students arriving in Romania. Looking for interested persons, motivating the Romanian kids to prepare traditional shows, convincing my mother to cook traditional food... This was the period of my life when I really felt my existence has a purpose :) Students from France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, USA, Switzerland, Germany had a great time in my house, even if we all had to sleep on the floor, and warm water was out of the question! :) All and each experience lasted for a week-end: - > Saturdays : intercultural exchange, organized in my formal school... - > Sundays: walking trip to the famous Voronet monastery, kids having the chance of playing the guides! I uploaded some pictures, if you want to have a better feeling about my experiences. :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I dicovered last Christmas, Charlie Chapplin's movies!They are so pure and have such simple, optimistic and strong messages, that I simply fell in love with them! The music I listen depends on my mood... I'm interested to discover the traditional music of other cultures. I also like the classic one (Shostakovich lately), but mainly if I hear it live. When I'm with my boyfriend, I preffer chill out. :) Books: Pere Goriot (Balzac)

I can teach you a Romanian traditional song, how to cook sour-soups and some delicious pancakes stuffed with cheese and baked in the oven! :) I would like to learn from you more about your country and what makes your nation unique, besides any prejudice...
My Interests
I'm very keen on spending quality time with my family, as we all gather quite rare. I'm very interested in finding new ways of working with kids. I prepare now to become a trainer and I hope this will give me more opportunities of sharing wonderful moments with children. I also try to find new dimenssions of my own culture. In my spare time, I take dance classes, I go to opera, theatre, and sometimes I ride my bike with my boyfriend.
