I've been thinking for three months what to write about Clare, but words can't really describe how much I owe to this girl. We spent about six or seven weeks together in India - I can't think of many other people I could travel with for so long. I don't think I could have survived that country without her. Never had to look for friends or a party because both always gravitated around her. I shared plenty of good laughs, interesting convos, and some of the all-round best times of my life with Clare, and I can't thank her enough for that. Miss you like hell!

Clare is an incredible girl who is intellient,funny,crazy,interesting and super-organised...I had a chance to interact with her in New Zealand and we found that we might be in India at the same time....wow....I look forward to seeing her again!!
Update...met up with Claire in India...she's still super rad, and a whole lot of fun, a solid person and a good friend...hope to see her again sooner or later!

Clare is good fun, we kinda hooked up a few times in Delhi doing random stuff, like eating, getting lost and so on.

Bubbly, friendly and a truly honest and considerate person! Thanks for making the amla extra fun Redzstar! We lived and worked together and I know she would be a great couchsurfer and host!

Great entertainer, made my days and nights unforgettable! watched DVD`s in Thai during the days and drank loads of exotic margaritas that clare made during the night.

Clare didn't just make my stay in Nong Khai enjoyable, she made it memorable. The times spent chatting, eating midday breakfasts, bitching, watching weepy movies, dreading having to close the rain shutters and of course getting drunk with the odd Tom Collins together will go down as some of my fondest holiday moments. Can't wait to hook up again in London, i'll be practising my Flatliners in anticipation.

Clare was my first couchsurfer and I have to say that after hosting her, I am definitely doing it again. I loved having random conversations with her about her travels, experiences and life in general. She fit right into my home and loved my guinea pigs :) Clare is very expressive, enthusiastic, ready to try new things, warm and a very fun person. She reads a lot and finished four off my bookrack in just 7 days. She is sensitive to other's needs and is open minded. I would love to have her around more and I do hope she sticks on in Delhi for a bit more so that we even travel together. I miss sitting with her on my terrace, with a drink, and just talking about random things. See you soon!!

Well she is a very adventurous person. She is also very jolly by nature. The time we have spent together was 'quality'. We both enjoyed seeing places around Delhi and she enjoyed freaking out on indian snacks like paneer roll, bhel puri, pani puri, momos, kulfi etc.... and the list is endless next on her list is 'Chaat' ... so you can imagine i am not talking about an ordinary traveller.. And she is a wonderful cook... I enjoyed Pasta made by her ... I wish her best of luck for her future ...

well she was too god dam wonderful to park here for ever, so off she flew to ferret out other fruits, but best of all, write beautiful long letters home. bloody hell mademoiselle i miss your gorgeous crazed person. see ya soon

Clare was there for me when I needed her, and despite the unexpected ebbs and flows of friendship I am confident that we will share even more in the future. She was our collective fairy in NZ and her presence was always looked forward to. And she makes the best coffee I've had in my not so long life.

we went searching for food and found bugs.. that was exciting! she highly recommended them.. and only told us afterwards that shes never tried or ever will.. bugs!

plus our crazy hitching trips in laos and awesome rides through the national park!..oh and the swedish pizza place!! ahh sooo good eh

oh and travelled laos together! in rubber rings, bikes, trucks..you name it we did it..good times!

And now my sis and I have stayed with Clare in London yayy and found it so easygoing and fabulously fun! A wonderful host!

It was really neat to meet Clare in Chiang Mai and then realise we came from the same place! We had a fun night out and it's a shame we didn't have some more.

Clare is like a delicious Emerson's, her choice of beer. She is local, individual, excellent, fruity, and she gets you ummm, drunk. She isn't cheap either! If you are in Nelson and she is too then make sure your path's cross...

Clare has made are working place a home. She is full energy, a pure sweethart. Good for drunk nights in the bar, and crazy enough to rescue me if I fall in the Maekong. There is always time for bitching with Clare or going out for a day of shopping in Nong Khai. I couldn't wish for anyone better to spend my time in Nong Khai with. She brings the best out of me.

Claire is super! She got courage, style, spontaneity and a good heart! I wish you wonderful travels and cant wait to hear about them..! Don't miss the chance to hang out with this girl!

well, i've missed the chance to contact her while travelling in nz so fate (...) brought us together at the thai/laos border and we shared the same route for some days. great girl with a passionate love for couchsurfing & new zealand

Clare is a fun person to be with and a very considerate guest. As we share a love of food, books, food, travel and food, converstaion was always lively and times spent together were grand.
We shall next surf her couch when we get back to Nelson!

Had fun hanging out with Clare, she's really easygoing, independent and low maintenence.. Definitely easy to chill with and would be a good person to go on longer excursions with too!

As a Nelsonian and Kiwi, Claire hosted the entire Collective in her hometown. She introduced to its best citizens and finest attractions. Thank you Claire! She can out-last the best of them at any party and she's also absolutely hilarious. She's 100% kiwi awesomeness.

I love Claire, we always have a good time together. Everything from thrifting, bogan partying, drinking, smoking out back, and wicked coffee. She also has like the best sense of style in all of New Zealand.
