Even though I didn't have much time to get to know her, the evening with her and other couchsurfers was great and enjoyable despite my cold. I definitely can assure that Sheila makes a pleasant first impression and would be great to meet her cheerful personality again!

I have a feeling Sheila's going to turn out to be an awesome friend in the long run simply because the first time we met in person it was because she and Matt were picking me up to attend a CS event. Whenever I've caught a ride with someone - whether out of environmental consciousness, necessity, or pure choice - it didn't matter what it was for it's always led to great friends! She took me to my first CS event in OC and introduced me to a lot of people, and I'm forever grateful for it!

We've only hung out a little bit but I get the feeling that I'll be changing this to a reference overloaded with gushing comments of awe after a few more times of hanging out, and in the meantime suggest you trust EVERYONE ELSE'S comments on her as reason enough to host/be hosted by her.

Sheila is an owner of a radiant smile and a very friendly heart. Thanks for the time together!

After being penpals since Nov '02 (wow doesn't time fly!!) Sheila and I finally met up this year when she invited me to meet her in Europe... and so to Latvia I went :)
It was GREAT to finally meet her in person and hang out. She has a cool, down to earth personality, friendly and has such a wonderful infectious smile & laugh that when she smiles or laugh... you smile or laugh. Lovely to talk to and the best part... she is a party animal!! Look forward to visiting her in LA one day!

We was intercommunicate by telephone with friendly and pretty women every trip day. I was happy met with Sheila in Skayline bar entrance-hall with jolly company. My work days sometimes was busy, but some minutes we spend together for me was cheerfully.

Sheila is a really open minded American and though we met only for one day we had an interesting talk and good fun going out together. I guess we could hang out more often if we had the chance!

I met Sheila, when she was in Riga. Unfortunatelly I couldn't spend so much time together as I wished, but from the first view I can say - she is nice, active and very, very smily person :) She a real CS soul :)

I met Sheila on her second day in Riga.
She left an impression of very easy going and fun loving girl who loves to party, loves writing long letters and has always a smile on her face. ;)

Would have loved to spend more time with her to know her better! Hope it will happen soon! :)

I hosted Sheila for 3 days. People like her motivates me to keep participating in cs! She is open hearted and has a great kind of humour. I´m sorry I didn´t have that much time and couldn´t get out at night (rarely felt so tired as I did that week... :)) Hope to meet you again!

It was the first time I interacted with the couch surfing community. I had an enjoyable evening; was glad a became a member of couch surfers.

Sheila was very friendly, fed us great food, and hooked my friend and I up with her mom so we could couch surf with her. A very positive experience.

Sheila and Matt are really nice, they invited us (me and a friend of mine) to their party and introduce us to their fantastic friends. Amazing, fabulous & gracious host. Very welcoming, great cook, great company, laid back. Sheila & Matthew made us feel right at home. Had a blast watching America's Next Top Model with them & just hanging out & chatting. Could not have asked for anything more! I highly recommend any time you can spend with these great people :) I really hope to see them again before I head back to Canada.

If you look in the dictionary under HOSTESS with the MOSTESS you will see Sheilas name! Very fun and creative oh and it helps she has a sweet pad and likes to party!

Sheila could probably be the most laid back girl I ever met and you don't have to spend a few days to get that. Must be an aura thing. Sheila is so hospitable and friendly at first glance. Sheila was awesome! She was kind enough to invite me and my friends out to a birthday party with her friends. We drank, danced, and laughed the whole way through.

I met sheila during a party in the OC. She is really sweet personn, and i appreciated dancing and speaking with her during our evening! She seems too very involved in the CS community in the OC so do not hesitate to contact her! Good memories guaranteed !

Sheila is truly an amazing person! We have met on several occasions now and I have seen first-hand her generosity and kindness towards others (and her legendary dance moves and ice cream!!!) She is one of the coolest, most down-to-earth, and caring people you can meet!

Shiela was my first CS experience, and what a joy she was! So welcoming and easy to be around - not afraid to hold a conversation.
My second night there, we went dancing with her friend, and met up with another CS named Kyle, who was awesome too.

I met Sheila at the 3rd Sunday LA Potluck. We had a lovely deep conversation on the way back to her house. She has a great selection of bathroom reads and a beautiful collection of shiny rocks. Thanks for the last minute sandy stay!

This affable girl went out of her way to email me an invite to a Farewell party for Alan, and I reciprocated by showing up - congenial Italian surfer in tow. I indulged in Sheila's home cooking and Mathew's artistic porno slides(haha). FUN was had... and the beginning of a dazzling friendship was auspiciously spawn.

I briefly spoke with Sheila at Casa Vino in Long Beach for a couchsurfing event, she was extremely friendly to everyone and had some great stories to tell!

Sheila was an awesome ambassador and host at the gathering at Casa Vino (great choice of location by the way). Very friendly and did a good job of introducing herself to everyone and making everyone feel welcome. I stayed at Sheyla's home for a couple of nights. It was my first couchsurfing experience and it was really cool!! I met lots of interesting and fun people there. If you go to Long Beach definitely you have to meet Matt and Sheyla. See you guys in Barcelona!!
