I live in the main part of "town". Its really small here. I live with my parents and one sibling. We have a pull out couch bed and couch. We also have floor space. I have a little dog who doesn't shed. No smoking here please (outside is ok). Everything fun is about 30-45 minutes away from my house. Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Hollywood - 40 minutes away. Ventura (beach, fun downtown) - 30 minutes. Santa Barbara (beach, fun place to walk around) - 40 minutes. Train station is less than 5 minutes away and is within walking distance. I am busy working 5 days a week. Friday and Saturday nights I would be happy to show you around Ventura/Santa Barbara. Weekends are best. I'm not into going to bed too late because of my insane schedule of working and school but would be able to change to hang out with guests. Blankets are provided. Weekend stays are best. Friday - Sunday.

Personal Description

hi i'm hannah. i'm 24, live in southern california. i'm a christian and i love jesus. i'm majoring in nursing. coffee shops are the best place to be. i love traveling and will never stop. i'm a vegetarian. music soothes my soul. i have no sense of diretion. i -hate- talking on the phone. i'm terrified of sharks and tidal waves. i love photography and wish i could take better pictures. i love walking in the rain barefoot. i have a major accent obsession. i love my dog, pixie. i'm always smiling.

CouchSurfing Experience

i've couchsurfed in france, italy, austria, switzerland, germany, luxembourg, belgium, and holland, so far. all of my hosts have been amazing and i think this is such a wonderful way to travel.

Interests

meeting new friends. traveling. music. classical guitar music (greek, spanish, gypsy) hanging out at coffee shops. level v river rafting. seeing as much of the world as i can. anything medical related. vegetarian cooking.

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done

summer of 2007 was spent backpacking through europe for 3 months. 6 weeks with my best friend, 6 weeks solo. words can't express the amazingness of this trip. i learned so much about people, cultures, and places. met friends that i hope to keep in touch with forever, and have decided that i will never be able to stop travelling.

Hannah surfed our couch for 2 nights coming trough Graz on her big trip across Europe. I really had a lot of fun and I'm so glad I've met her. She is such an easygoing and nice person. She is open to almost everything and curios and she wants to get to know a lot of people.
Next time I'll meet her it is hopefully going to be in California.

I had the pleasure of "hosting" (although they had to sleep on the floor!!) Hannah and her friend Becky as they made their way through Europe on their childhood dream realized backpacking trip. They were polite, clean and friendly. They were quiet and considerate (I went to bed before them and I couldn't hear them make any noise!) They were organized and motivated travellers, but also open-minded. I wish them the best of times on their journey and they are welcome back at my place anytime.
