Groups I Belong ToCouch Information Couch Available: Coffee or a drink Preferred Gender: AnyUNABLE TO HOST NOW, Sorry.
Every Friday at 10pm: Revuelto's Day! Join the Sevillian CS Community in the Clan Bar (Adriano street, nº 3) for a drink (2 beers 2.5 Euros) and lots of fun! :-)
I live alone in centrally located area. Bars, Restaurants, Tourist Attractions, Shops and the River are at my doorstep. I might be able to show you around, but not the main monuments (I´d have to go every other day!). Laid back but neat atmosphere. I dont usually have much to eat at home, but love home cooking. 420 friendly.
If you would like to surf my couch, it helps to make sure you have fairly enough information about you on your profile and/or a few references, although not a requirement (you can light it up with a personal email request :-) Please give me a clue why you are considering me as a potential host and use the "surf with" button.
"CouchSurfers are all different, some like to go out on their own, some like to spend a lot of time with their host, some like me to take them out at night, some like me to show them around etc...It would be nice if you could let me know what your plans are for your stay in Bamako (Sevilla) so I am prepared and so we can know what to expect from eachother. I am happy to spend time with you if I am free, but if you would rather do your own thing please let me know (I do have a life outside of CouchSurfing...really!) Sometimes I am very busy with life, and if that is the case I will let you know not to expect to be able to spend much time with me, however you are still welcome to stay if you need a place to sleep" from Melissa Mullan (but also apply to me :-)
I am meeting more and more surfers who want to "practice" their Spanish. I love speaking Spanish (I am from Spain :-), but it seems that a CS experience is more about communicating than praticing a language. So, I will be happy to speak with you whatever language is easiest for us to understand each other.
"RELAX - I really like to host people so don't be stressed when you are here, don't bother yourself with thinking all the time that you would disturb me or anything like that. I lived in many different places with many different people and I had already many guests here so I'm really used to that. Just enjoy your stay" from Maurizio Mangano (and he gave a great description).
Also, if you are in town and want to go for a drink or coffee (or a meal, I might know the perfect spot), let me know!! Welcome!!
PS Heading to the coast? Visit my friend Aviva, you can´t miss her!

Everything was greate! There was all that is important for having a wonderful CS experience: smiles, friendship, sun, lasagne and a style car.
Thank you Carlos

I had the pleasure to met this open-minded, very generous, talkative and honest person at a CS weekend in Hinojos, which he organized.
From Isabelle Engelhardt Grossbeeren, Germany Nov 4 Positive i met carlos in punto umbria on a cs gathering. carlos is terrific. he's the most polite and supporting guy i've met. i don't know if he is doing anything else than this since i couldn't count often he said "yeah, i can do that and look up for that if you want to." while i met him.
therefore he spontaneuosly could give us a lift by car from punto umbria to sevilla and he added some historical excursions to see and hear some columbus sightseeings and stories without us asking him to do so. it was a pleasure to hark to everything he was up relating us. its a pity it was sunday afternoon, so the exhibition he actually wanted to take us was already closed.
we actually did want to go on by train but he offered us his house, so we also surfed his couch and had some fun by cooking some nice dinner and having nice talks.
From Marc Gaertner Berlin, Germany Oct 27 Positive He waves the flag! Carlos is a passionate CSer and a really good promotor of the network's ideas: kind, generous, a guest one should host. Of capital importance is: he's one who kicks off activities and shares his passion with others. And what a great and easy going host in Sevilla, making a stay there so relaxed. Thank you for everything!
From Kate King Leesburg, United States Oct 24 Positive In a few words I will say that Carlos showed me incredible kindness and is a model host for CS. He is passionate about the project and made me feel like an honored guest in his lovely home. Looking forward to staying in touch Carlos!
From Ciro Rendas Lisbon, Portugal Oct 24 Positive Carlos is a truly committed CSer: actively involved in both local, regional, national and international CS communities. Anyway, that's quite obvious just by quickly looking at his profile. But when you meet him, he's definitely more than meets the eye.
We missed a chance to meet up last year in Cambodia... but this time the chance became a reality and we finally met up at Sevilla. Carlos offered to give me a ride to Granada, for the Andalusia meeting, and we spent a great time there (even when searching for a parking spot in a city which is imposible to drive in - even the GPS agree with me).
I'll be seeing you in Lisbon soon! Until then, CSurf's up!
From AZULMANIA Madrid, Spain Oct 21 Positive Very helpful and friendly person, real CS spirit who enjoys meeting people also we spent great moments and nice talking in CS Milano Anniversary party at Disco and picnic in representation of Spain.
He told me how difficult was to be there at last time and he was very glad of being there...
Hope to see you later in Sevilla buddy :)

I'm not sure I can say enough about Carlos. It's clear he's passionate about people and his culture! I had the privelege of spending the weekend at his flat in Punta Umbria. It was a lovelly time, nice food, interesting people, a chilled out atmosphere and yeah! By the end of it he was kind enough to offer me and my friend a place in Sevilla as we were travelling back to Germany!
I can't quite describe him as a person... he's a mix of humor, intelligence, he's very considering and even more-so a generous man... I don't know many others who are as willing to open up his home and himself to strangers without asking for anything back...
From SUNNY & SUNNY Bratislava, Slovakia Oct 6 Positive He is THE BEST! He was from the very first moment treating me like one of his closest friends. From Carla de Venecia Forest Hills, United States Dec 10, 2007 Positive All I can say is that I feel very lucky to have spent time with this man! We met at a Starbucks in Seville...and as I always manage to do... I was waiting at the wrong one. No pasa nada for Carlos...he knew where to look for me. Anyway, we met up a couple of times...for drinks, tapas, and paseos through town. The other CS were right on the money in describing Carlos as a walking Wikepedia of all things Spain. This man must be met. If given the opportunity, take advantage! Thanks for the company, Carlos! Hope to see more of you.

From Cinthia Klumpp Barcelona, Spain Oct 27, 2007 Positive This might be the best-couch-ever...Carlos showed us not just a ¨flamenco-beer-tapas-Sevilla¨, but has told different kind of histories for each food, building, songs....we have had just a great time, with dinners, histories, bossa nova and he has took us to diferent places nearby Sevilla.
I am so happy of met this extremely pleasent and funny guy! Leaving sevilla will be a sad decision, but we´ve gotta move on...
He has just became a friend! For sure we´ll keep always in touch!
We´ll wait for your visit someday, Carlos! Thanks for everything!

From Christina Sang Min Lee Sydney, Australia Oct 21, 2007 Positive Carlos is by far the best host ever!
He was very welcoming from the first moment we stepped into his home! He is very knowledgeable about Sevilla and pretty much everything else...his picture is next to encyclopaedia in the dictionary haha
and he was nice enough to show us neighbouring towns in his convertible!
We will miss you Carlos!! |
