Carlos is just a great host! He made me and Marc feel at home (= given us full kitchen-control :-) ) and very welcome. As a host he is attentive, generous, interested, well prepared ... he just creates a nice and warm atmosphere. I highly appreciate the work he does for CS-community - not only being a great host but also being very active in creating this community. As a person he is easy and fun to be with. i met carlos in punto umbria on a cs gathering. carlos is terrific. he's the most polite and supporting guy i've met. i don't know if he is doing anything else than this since i couldn't count often he said "yeah, i can do that and look up for that if you want to." while i met him.
therefore he spontaneuosly could give us a lift by car from punto umbria to sevilla and he added some historical excursions to see and hear some columbus sightseeings and stories without us asking him to do so. it was a pleasure to hark to everything he was up relating us. its a pity it was sunday afternoon, so the exhibition he actually wanted to take us was already closed.
we actually did want to go on by train but he offered us his house, so we also surfed his couch and had some fun by cooking some nice dinner and having nice talks.

He waves the flag! Carlos is a passionate CSer and a really good promotor of the network's ideas: kind, generous, a guest one should host. Of capital importance is: he's one who kicks off activities and shares his passion with others. And what a great and easy going host in Sevilla, making a stay there so relaxed. Thank you for everything!

In a few words I will say that Carlos showed me incredible kindness and is a model host for CS. He is passionate about the project and made me feel like an honored guest in his lovely home. Looking forward to staying in touch Carlos!

Carlos is a truly committed CSer: actively involved in both local, regional, national and international CS communities. Anyway, that's quite obvious just by quickly looking at his profile. But when you meet him, he's definitely more than meets the eye.
We missed a chance to meet up last year in Cambodia... but this time the chance became a reality and we finally met up at Sevilla. Carlos offered to give me a ride to Granada, for the Andalusia meeting, and we spent a great time there (even when searching for a parking spot in a city which is imposible to drive in - even the GPS agree with me).
I'll be seeing you in Lisbon soon! Until then, CSurf's up!

Very helpful and friendly person, real CS spirit who enjoys meeting people also we spent great moments and nice talking in CS Milano Anniversary party at Disco and picnic in representation of Spain.

I'm not sure I can say enough about Carlos. It's clear he's passionate about people and his culture! I had the privelege of spending the weekend at his flat in Punta Umbria. It was a lovelly time, nice food, interesting people, a chilled out atmosphere and yeah! By the end of it he was kind enough to offer me and my friend a place in Sevilla as we were travelling back to Germany!

I can't quite describe him as a person... he's a mix of humor, intelligence, he's very considering and even more-so a generous man... I don't know many others who are as willing to open up his home and himself to strangers without asking for anything back...

He is THE BEST! He was from the very first moment treating me like one of his closest friends. Thanks to him I had oportunity to meet amazing ppl, see incredibly beautiful places, attend georgeous meetings, learn how to cook Spanish tortilla, experience roof party, tapas tour, sweet Spanish wines... :-) Without him and his awesome generosity my first trip to Spain would never be so fantastic. A true Spanish CS Guru!

Such a great, friendly guy! I've never met anyone who is so willing and enthusiastic to host people and make sure you enjoy your stay. He is wonderful and I highly reccommend that you meet this spectacular man one day!

Carlos asked if there was a "real man" around to open a jar at the mi2 picnic..I gave it a go but obviously I'm not a 'real man' so this was an impossible task for me haha! Interesting guy from Sevilla who has travelled vastly. Take some time out to meet this guy, it will be worth your while!

Carlos has an incredibly positive energy. It was a pleasure meeting him and staying at his place for the full moon party. A memorable experience and a great way to finish my time in Spain.

Carlos is incredible, sometimes he cannot let his butt on a chair and sometimes he's more relaxed than a 70's hippy! He's a great fiestas organizer and a perfect Host. You will like to share some talks around a drink in the middle of the night, but he will be the last going to bed ;)

I have met lot's of people who love the Couch Surfing Project, but Carlos is far beyond all of them. He organized, together with Lauri) one of the best meetings I have ever been. He hosted us, offered rides to the guests, went buying the food and the drinks for the party and was checking every single detail to have a perfect meeting and to enjoy all of the time.

Carlos was a blast! Joy to eat with and he can sure make you laugh. Watch out for his dancing shoes, he'll bust a move on you:) We ventured into the deep wilderness for some hiking and survived! He is a very generous and charming man. If you get a chance to meet him, jump on it!

Carlos is a very sweet and generous person. His presence at the CS collective warmed my heart. He helped me so much in the kitchen and did it with love and kindness which always makes the food taste better. He came bearing yummy gifts of meat and cheese from Sevilla which were greatly appreciated and also gifted me with an adorable apron which I wear with pride. Carlos will always make your day a brighter one!

Carlos is a gentleman joker and then some "j. He will always make you feel welcome and appreciated, but he will also keep you on your toes. no tuvimos mucho tiempo de charlar, pero un buen tipo. a ver cuando nos vemos..

I had been in Sevilha 3 times before my CS experience, but with Carlos I discovered the "Dream" Sevilha. He took me to a typical Bodega, to a fancy place to taste tapas and then to a place with Flamenco Shows that I will never forget. He made me know the curiosities of the city, italian desserts, great musics and the original CS experiences that are happening in the region. Because of him know I (a portuguese) think that all the Sevilha "guys" are very nice, gentlemen and generous. Know I want to come back to Sevilha to be again with CArlos and with the people that CArlos introduced me (they were great).

Carlos is the perfect CS member: friendly, always available to do something, full of energy, courious about people and life, and a person with a great sense of hospitality. I like talk with him, and I 've enjoyed all the meetings he uses to organize in Sevilla!

Have you ever met someone for the first time, but felt like you've known them for years? This is Carlos. Spent three days surfing his couch in Sevilla, but I would swear up and down I've known him for much longer. An excellent host and true wealth of information, Carlos brings Sevilla to life. Traveling to Sevilla and not meeting this man is like going to Paris and forgoing the Eiffel tower.

Highly trustworthy and even more friendly. He started out as a couchsurfing host but ended up a lifelong friend.

My stay in Seville couldn´t have been better, because it was just nice to get to know Carlos, and to hear things about Seville and the region while making some very nice car and bike(!) trips. He was exceptionally flexible and helpful. I hope we´ll meet again!

Carlos brought me to a very nice first class restaurant (not expensive) and it was very good. Carlos is a nice guy and ready to help. I also appreciated so much that he has showed me a place where to buy a ticket for a corrida. That was a nice experience for a first stay in Andalucia. I hope to see him next time when i come to Sevilla.

Carlos is definitly the one to know for going to the right place and have good tips. His fully care of me and I thanks him a lot for that.

Carlos is a great host! I went to a fun weekend CS gathering with him and others at his flat in Punto Umbria and also stayed at his place in Sevilla. He knows a lot of interesting things about the area and took me for tours in both places, he also took me to have tapas in Sevilla. He is very generous with his time and his place- even making sure that I had food for the bus ride back! He also taught me how to use the Couchsurfing website better...thank you!

Carlos is a funny, interesting and helpfull host. During my few days with him in Sevilla I had a wonderful time and experienced lots of cool typically Spanish foods, drinks, and pastimes. If you're going to be in the city, Carlos is the man you want to stay with!

Carlos is an outstanding person to couchsurf with! He is giving, caring, and has awesome travelling stories. He got us in to see some amazing flamenco even though he wasnt going and he ran red lights to get us to our bus on time! Overall an awesome host.

Carlos was truely an amazing host. Neither he nor we are very fond of stereotype experiences, though we ended up having 3 days of picturebook Spain with him in Seville. And what was meant to be just a stopover on our way to Africa, turned into a small trip on its own.Really great and unforgotten!

All I can say is that I feel very lucky to have spent time with this man! We met at a Starbucks in Seville...and as I always manage to do... I was waiting at the wrong one. No pasa nada for Carlos...he knew where to look for me. Anyway, we met up a couple of times...for drinks, tapas, and paseos through town. The other CS were right on the money in describing Carlos as a walking Wikepedia of all things Spain. This man must be met. If given the opportunity, take advantage! Thanks for the company, Carlos! Carlos was an amazing host!! He was so generous with his beautiful & modern apartment (right in the heart of the city), his time, everything! He took me on a cool bicycle tour, hiking and chowing on great local jamon in a nearby town, for amazing tasty tapas, shopping at the supermarket, and even went to the immigration office on my behalf to find out more info on my pending ‘illegality’ in Spain!! He knows a lot about his Sevilla and is happy to be a guide and show you around. We cooked and had a sweet dinner on his beautiful roof terrace and it was also nice to just relax in a comfortable home and watch a movie. Thanks so much Carlos!

Carlos was my first ever couchsurfing host and I can't imagine I will ever have a better one... he has a great place in the center of Sevilla and knows everything there is to know about Sevilla and Spain in gerneral, not to mention that he took us out and showed us all the great places tourists would normally miss. we had a great time sharing our travel tails over a glass of wine and some tapas... he also loves a good casserole so if you can cook, your in...

This might be the best-couch-ever...Carlos showed us not just a ¨flamenco-beer-tapas-Sevilla¨, but has told different kind of histories for each food, building, songs....we have had just a great time, with dinners, histories, bossa nova and he has took us to diferent places nearby Sevilla.

I am so happy of met this extremely pleasent and funny guy! Leaving sevilla will be a sad decision, but we´ve gotta move on...

He has just became a friend! For sure we´ll keep always in touch!

Carlos is by far the best host ever!
He was very welcoming from the first moment we stepped into his home! He is very knowledgeable about Sevilla and pretty much everything else...his picture is next to encyclopaedia in the dictionary haha
and he was nice enough to show us neighbouring towns in his convertible!
