Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Now that I have a family, my profile has been moribund since 2011 ish and we probably can't host much. Still we can offer help to travelers, if they contact us and are visiting this area. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE This was a great project 5 to 10 years ago & I took advantage. I am pretty out of the loop now.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Walking home with no flashlight, no moon and no electric lights for miles under blazing stars in Mozambique. Palm tree silouhettes ... Conversations in Bitonga spilling out of huts lit only by candles ... Drums echoing in the distance.
My Interests
Running, hiking, cycling, triathlon: These are my current passions. I'm pretty healthy these days, but I do enjoy a beer or 3 sometimes. I wake up pretty early. Coffee is a necessity. Beer and wine a close second and third. Travel used to be a big passion, but lately I have done less of it.
