i met him at Bursa at the end of the night, but im sure we'll have an another chance to see each other, i need your help Dan how to go from Ljubljana to Wien :) he is so polite&friendly person.

I met Daniel hen he posted a message in the Istanbul group to drink Raki and have dinner. A friend that I was with invited all of us to a gathering/party, and I got to talk and get to know Daniel. Very funny guy, I admire the fact that he has been in Istanbul for over 6 months. Very down to earth.

Daniel was very kind to meet me and some other CSers to show us around Istanbul .. He was very helpful even before meeting others he showed me a nice pastry shop .. then we had nice walk in Taksim area , showed us the best Turkish delights shop .. then we had nice lunch .. And finaly he was so kind to help me find a bus to Mersin.

since he has been to Istanbul, he became a couchsurfing guru in Turkey.Most of people i know from CS somehow know him or met him before :) We couldn't share too much time yet but we often see eachother in such "brief meetings"..as long as he stays in istanbul , it seems we are gonna see eachother oftenly.Oh i forgot to say , i trust him in any case and recommend him as a future guest/host for you,"the reader" ^^

I sufed hıs couch for 2 nıghts. It was verry ınterestıng to check out the cıty wıth thıs guy. He has sometıng to tell about every place we vısıted. I lıke lıstenıng to hıs travel story,s. Whıch made me wanna go travelıng even more. I hope we meet agaın one day.

I met Danıel ın Istanbul for just 2 hours. I don't need to describe hım. But I got the experience of a great CSer. It ıs a pleasure to fınd a person wıth whom you can share the CS spirit. He gıve me a lot of tıpes. It was really ınterestıng.

Daniel and his many traveling experiences came one day in Thessaloniki. I was very happy to host him. I learned a lot of things about CS and the genuine ways to travel. He told me so many nice things about Australia, Mongolia, Finland, Austria, Russia, Turkey, Spain and so many more countries. He's so helpful and polite. I 'd happily host him again. Daniel is a professonal traveler and he likes to share his travel experiences and I also enjoy listening him. He is a knowledgeable person and compatible with different cultures. I would like to meet him in the future again.

Danniel is soul of Travel. a person who has lots of experience and its nice to hear what he says with full of attention. he never hesitate to share his experiences with some young like me. we went to photography in Istanbul together and I really had good times with him. hope to meet him again.

First We met up on our way to Marmaris. We stayed together same room in Marmaris. Then We met up several times in Istanbul. He is a friendly and easygoing pal. Also He is a good photographer and real traveller. Hope that we see each other more!..

Met up with Daniel and other CSers for an evening of festival-going in Ankara. As you can see by his extensive profile, Daniel breathes couchsurfing! A really open chap, always with something interesting to say and an excellent photographer! Shame I didn't have longer to hang out with him but would not hesitate to host him whenever!

Daniel is everything i imagined a CS ambassador to be like and much more :-) With his backpack and ultra cool Eee. The ideal mate to share adventure stories with (and he has quite a few). He is also a fountain of information, insight and even help on this CS project. My friend... you are welcomed anytime :-)

Daniel stayed with me for a weekend and we enjoyed doing almost nothing together..while in each other's company. :D We chatted, went to the movies, smoked minty cappucino nargile..ooooh, good lazy times...

He is one of th few capabilities for photography..

we met with him on marmaris ephesus and sirince trip. he is really easy-going and talkative guy. we had a really great trip together in the south part of turkey. he was my quest fot 3 days after this trip. ıt was nice to meet him. hope to see you again...

Daniel is a collector of far-flung knowledge and is wonderful and funny to talk to and exchange, uhhh, let's say "unusual" stories with. Our CS trip to Marmaris and Ephesus wouldn't have been the same without him! I greatly admire Daniel for living the life on the road that I have only just begun. Happy travels my man, I trust our paths will cross again!

we had great time in ankara. he is a real traveller guy, who knows about different cultures and countries. so it is very great to share ideas and information each other. i learned lots of things from him. he is a nice, honest and easygoing person. he stayed only for one night but hope to see him again in ankara or someplace on earth ;) and take care of yourself and your new jeans, my friend :)

Daniel is a very great person,he had been travelling for one year when we met, and studies and learns the cultures of each country, he showed me his special diary, were he wrote about every place he had visited . Friendly, quiet,open to be with.

It was my first couchsurfing experience with Daniel and it was his first rakı experience in here:) He stayed in my home 2 days and we had so nice time together. i appreciated much his very well rakı-fish likes, his kind,understanding and friendly behavious during all the time, and common photography interest.
it was another nice experience to watch together movie gallipoli and share our common historical event so friendly.
and one more experience together with turkish police while driving through amasra with high speed for to catch day:))

he suddenly needed help and i tried to manage something. it was a total confusion at first and continued so to the end but i liked him and somehow trust. wish you stayed one more night but maybe the next time pal.

Daniel is a really collective spirit and curious for anything new around. He is also kind and easy going and knows a lot about things around himself..so, I highly recommend him to meet up/host/surf on his couch.

Daniel stayed only a couple of days at my place and we didn't get to spend much time together as I was up to my eyeballs with work (mea culpa!), but we did manage to squeeze in some quality talking time!! Daniel is a great person to know, interested in everything and everyone and God he has sooooo many anecdotes to share, gathered here and there from all his adventures... Definitely a CSurfer to meet!

I like Daniel's sense of humour. He's even milder than most Australians I meet.

Update: Reading Daniel's posts as CS Ambassador for Perth has given me a broader picture of him as a person. I admire his positions on many things, which are drawn from common sense. For this reason, my estimation of him has increased even though we haven't met up again since that party at NatKat more than a year ago.

I came te Fedor's place to pick him up, we went to CS meeting together, I wanted to take him back home after the meeting, wandering if he could find his way back. Appeared that, even after just a few beers, he was the one to show the right direction! hehehe ;) Nice chat infront of the doors we had!Hope to bump to you again somwhere around the world! Cheers mate ;)

I have so many things to say for Daniel:)we had a great day together as walking in Bebek and in different districts of istanbul, climbing through the fortresses of Rumeli, getting lost in graveyard:D
He is an outgoing person and it's really enjoyable to get along with him.

Daniel was a full of colorful stories, genuinely polite and good-humored guest. He told me curious bits of his travels, made me laugh in more than decent quantity, and met my request to talk to my students of English in class. I was used to speaking more than listening to my guests, but this was the opposite experience, and it was good, for a change. Daniel inflamed my curiosity in new areas and inspired further open-mindedness towards people and the take-it-easy philosophy. In short, I feel inspired and thankful :)

We met at my first CS meeting in Venice Italy! A great time had by all! I look forward to meeting again thanks for a great night you organised!

I like his way of thinking about the life,the good and bad .He is interesting man.I am sure that he made pictures which will stay long in his mind.In Sofia he was react like he is been in that city many times.

I hosted him for a night. It was brief because I had to leave Pécs. I could not understand all words but we established I feel the sentences and the topic. I could present my new accordion knowledge and Daniel was my first people who really interested was in my play.

Who has the patience to talk to me about all sorts of animals for a long time?

Daniel has taught me a lot about how CS works in a deeper sense from his long experience while I hosted him. He also gave a hand to my husband with the bed so thank you very much for that. He was a very polite guest.

We met in an CS easter meeting in Budapest, after it we spent some time walking and talking with other CSurfers. He makes GREAT pictures and likes to share his experiences.

Well, Daniel is very interesting person with so many experiences and topics for a conversation..=))You will never get bored by him. I can say we had a great time even if we have spent only few days together.

good sense of humor and lot of great stories. We met in Poprad, where I hosted him and his friend for a while. I'm sure that we will meet again, 'cause world is too small for couchsurfers :-)

Daniel is very nice and neat, something I consider a great asset for people you want to have staying with you. He always offered to help, although no one let him and he seemed to be enjoying his time meeting people, sharing experiences and feeling up to living to the rythm the people that hosted him lived by. Cool guy!

I was introduced to Daniel in José house. He is a interesting person with a lots of CS experiences. He is a nice guy with a particular humor and is very friendly. Talk with him about her CS experiences.

Daniel gave me and my boyfriend our first CS experience and a good thing was that because he is a genuine and fun person to be with. He has many interesting stories from all over the world and gave great tips on the dreamjourney through Russia with the Transsibirian railroad. Very friendly and openminded guy I hope to see again, anywhere in the world.

Daniel is a great and free spirit, he had many interesting and funny travelstories to tell. I'm sad that I didn't get to spend more time with him. I didn't even get to say goodbye because I got ill. I wish him luck on his further travels.

Daniel stayed at my place for a few days, we met and spend a rainy afternoon chatting and eating delicious noodles (too many noodles to little sauce, my bad)

He helped me beat a few levels of Super Mario Galaxy and even discovered a few hidden tricks with the extra wiimote.

We met at a Vienna CS meeting where Daniel dropped in on one of his trips to Europe. We stayed with the same CSer and had a really interesting conversation that night. Hope to see you again!

Daniel was our first couch-surfer, and it was a lovely experience. He's friendly and easy-going, and didn't complain about the mess. No weird habits (as far as I know :D) and he helped me with my camera, and took some really nice pictures too. I've met Daniel briefly while being hosted by Dagmar in Zürich, he's very funny and outgoing, I really hope he liked my hair massages though. I wish him good luck in on his journey.

This time it wasn't Koala, but Borek the we learned, still a good time to meet, chat about CS and life in Istanbul. Couldn't have a better start for our Turkey trip!

Daniel was the perfect houseguest. Every day when we came home from work the dishes were done and he was making us dinner!! What more could we ask for? :)

Daniel's an interesting person. Within the first few minutes of talking with him, you can tell he's full of culture, intelligent, and very friendly. I hope I get to see him again, our meeting was cut short by a train schedule.

Daniel was great!! For him, everywhere is a good place and everything needs to be seen... Ottimo!! We even met other CS members in Bergamo and Milano and the experience was more than extremely positive!!

after having briefly met at a cs party in summer 2007 daniel came back to vienna to celebrate austr(al)ia here and stayed with us for two nights for this occasion. he was a very nice and considerate guest and we spent quite some time talking, discussing and loughing together. really hope you can come back for the stammtisch!! do you need a couch? ;o)

Daniel is indeed a traveler ambassador, every place he's been, every meeting he attended to, every surfer he met speak about him. Traveling is an art and yes he is an artist. Daniel stayed at my apartment for 2 nights alone because I stayed with my parents during that time due to my foot injury. So I can't say we spent much time together but Daniel was certainly very nice, he can give you excellent couchsurfing and traveling tips and he didn't burn down my apartment which is a big plus :)))

Daniel gave me a very impactful impression. I felt that we belong to the same world. (Aussie and Singapore is really near) He is well read and highly intellectual. I would like to be given another chance to meet up with him. Hopefully this happen.
