HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I try to host whenever I have enough time to show my guests around and I am very soft hearted when it comes to emergency requests. When being a surfer myself I share my food and leave the kitchen tidy! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfing is a wonderful project and I've met so many beautiful people through it. Without this website many of my travels would not have been possible. The best way to learn about and experience the local culture is to get to know the people. Often it's a good idea to skip a visit to a museum and go for a picnic with your host instead.
