ABOUT ME

I am researching/writing a phd in history on Britons in Serbia/Greece during the great war. I have wider research ambitions about anglo-jugoslav relations and Britons "abroad" in the 20th century... being an expat myself I am naturally interested in the subject! When I am not holed up in the british library reading room you can find me in the cafe hammering out my latest bodice-ripper project. I also work part time in children's publishing, helping to sell foreign rights.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started out with Trevor in Berlin Feb 2008. Jenn and I couchsurfed through Bulgaria and Turkey summer 2008 and we hosted people in awesome manor. What the future holds, time will tell..

I love cooking, diy beauty products (henna!), travelling in eastern europe and general green warrior-ness, and am eager to share what I know/ learn more.
