Couch picture

I live in downtown Ukiah, California. It is a small house with lots of character. I can host a couple people at a time. I have a small dog and a kitty. The couch is bright green and plush. Around me are parks, restaurants, few bars, basic shopping, hills, pears, grapes, lakes.
I can show people around on the weekends and evenings. There is some good stuff to see in the area.

Personal Description

My goal in life is to see the world as a traveler not a tourist. Couchsufing has taught me so much about myself through the wonderful community of supportive participants.

I love what the outdoors has to offer whether beaches or mountains, snow or sun.

How I Participate in CS2

When I am home I would love for people to go the extra mile to surf my couch. It seems like it is in the sticks of California, but some of Californias best outdoors can be found in my neck of the woods (subjective). Just try it, you may like it.

CouchSurfing Experience

Just started really. The first was in Budapest and I had a great time!

Types of People I enjoy

Good computing skills. Easily able to communicate with everyone. Great marketing skills. I can fix bicycles, change flat tires.

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done

Rode a train through Sinaloa, Mexico. Hitchhiked though Fiji. Went to Panama - Boca del Toro for the heck of it. Lived in a 14th century castle with family friends in Tarragona, Spain. Drank Kavakava with a village tribe

Opinion on the CouchSurfing.com Project

Couchsurfing -- Good stuff -- The best way to learn the culture, find things to do and travel the lesser beaten path. People that opt in to offer their couch really seem to be open, hospitable and trusting and those exact people are the best ones to meet while traveling.

Locations Traveled

TRAVELED: Andorra, Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Slovakia, Spain

Jeff really tryed to help me out when I was passing through ukiah and wasn't availble to let me use his couch but hooked me into someone who could. We hung out(and his great dog). From what I gathered out of his presence, hes really gental, sweet, and nice to be around. His dog totally was awesome too, kept me company on the couch.I would have liked to get to know him more

Jeff has the cutest dog and the nicest girlfriend. A beautiful home and wonderful Parents. I'm pretty sure I stayed on his couch for over two weeks over the course of a month and a half. Jeff's countenance was wonderful and helped make little Ukiah seem as one of the nicer places on Earth. The Dude is Awesome.

Jeff and Buckley were both wonderful hosts while I stayed at their house for a few days in Ukiah. I recommend Jeff to anyone. He is a great guy, and he and his parents make really really good wine.

Jeff hosted me for a night at his parents' house in Ukiah. With a nice barbecue dinner, fine wine, good conversation, and a spectacular view on Lake Mendocina, it was such a pleasant experience! Jeff is fun, laid-back, reliable, and highly recommended to any couchsurfers!

Ok, Jeff finaly I got moment for you.
When he first jumped in my small office in BA, I talked to my self ..who's this? :-)
After we spent more time together throwing frisbee at president's palace garden and then also in front of the prezidents palace between crowds of people rushing back home from work, recruiting and educating HC members what is CS all about, brainstorming new project for Grafiti Hostel in Bratislava, firing absinth with Slovak chicks we met in Dezmar, housekeeping, jew harping, water polo swiming, just kidding and foto model shooting at Botanic garden, almost skiing in Low Tatras, Salza dancing with Maria Magdalena and bread loafs and finaly box surfing.
We did couple things together but I still have question in my mind Who is the Jeff?
I bet I will find out in Sonoma valley one day.
I believe that CS is creating live time friendships and this is the one of them.

P.S.Jeff is very good at creating CS rules or invention
#1 is Never .... at dinner table :-)
P.S. Sorry for beautiful morning wakeup song

We first met at Micha's place in Bratislawa where he was couchsurfing with Michal's flatmate (November 2006), so I decided to visit him during my US trip summer 2007! We had an amazing time at his parents' house, who are actually really cool and laid back as well! He showed us around the Wine country (Mendocino coast, wineries, etc.) and local pubs. I really do hope he comes to Austria again in the future so we can give some of this amazing hospitality back!

Jeff is fantastically cool. I highly recommend visiting him and Mendocino County in Nor Cal with perhaps an Eel River excursion. He hosted my move to Maui and I'm still here!

Jeff is a great host. He made us discover Maui and its loads of fun and interesting things. Good music, good atmosphere and clever motto "go surfing with several mates, less chances the shark gets you." :)

Jeff is one of my best cs experiences and adventures! First time he stayed for 6 nights but I would like to host, travel or be with him many more. We also played soccer two times - as an american he's excelent player:)
... and then he came back from Vienna.
... and then he came back from Krakow.
... and then we travelled to Budapest surfing the couch of Zsofi and Zonga. It was my first travelling after hosting many cs.
... and then we spent last two days in Bratislava playing basketball, surfing clubs and Aura tearoom and smoked last slovakian-hungarian-american cigaret before he definitely flew to Barcelona.
... and then ...?

Jeff was really fun to be with and I never thought that he would be so interested in Eastern Europe and stuff. He was always ready to be involved in anything, anytime, anywhere... We had a wonderful weekend thanks to him and his friend, Michel. And he was also attentive and veeery tidy, especially in the kitchen :) I really hope we'll see u soon!

It was really funny, as i picked Jeff up. He was sitting in a diner, and looked totally lost, because the waitress was really interested in him - he was afraid that he had to surf the bar this night ;-)
Had much fun the next few days, Jeff if you buy a house in bratislava, we should make a huge party! So see you.
