Personal Description I was an exchange student to Australia, kind of the ultimate in couch surfing really. It was way back in 1986, the whole year. I was very fortunate I had a great host family and it was an amazing life experience. I also lived in Hawaii for 4 years. I grew up in California. I have lived all over the United States. I have ridden my, motorcyle driven my truck and flown over most of it. I have seen a large portion of the United States and looking forward to seeing some more of the rest of the world. How I Participate in CS2By being a good host and a good guest. CouchSurfing ExperienceI have gotten the oportunity to be a host a few times and I find I like it very much. New people who are intelligent and well rounded with a lot of faith in the human race.
I have also enjoyed surfing some couches and find it to be an amazing way to travel. InterestsABOUT ME
My favorite subject, well almost. I'm a bit of a motorcycle enthusiast. doing that for 20 years now. not sure where the time went. I also like fast cars, fast motorcycles goes without saying. I also have a pilets license, fast airplanes are really cool, but very expensive, I still like them though. I like traveling as well, who doesn't. I like most people, I tend to get along really well with the one's who think for themselves and live there own lives.PhilosophyI try not to take every thing too seriously, and remeber it can always be worse. Also try not to use more then my share, a tough one as an american, we have so much, its great. Music, Movies, Booksfavaorite movies; Heat, Devils Advocate, Any wich way but loose ( # 2 at the box office in 1978, Star wars was # 1 ) most of Clint Eastwoods movies. Music; classic rock, clssic country, anything with heart and soul. Bob Segar, Glen Fry, Eagles, statlor brothers.Types of People I enjoyI like most people, possibly a bit nieve, try to see the best in people, not always wise. Genuine peple with an opinion, I could care less if we agree, as long as you took the time to think about what ever it is you believe in and try to live that way. OOPS we're getting serious again. People who are alive and trying to live to the fullest and best of their ability. I think that about covers it.Teach, Learn, Share I have spent a little time around airplanes, motorcyles and trucks. I have owned three different businesses, know that isn't easy. I know life is short it is important to make the best of the time we have. New places are scary knowing someone is very helpfull in a new place. They might be able to help in finding the good stuff there. Life is very short, this seems like a good way for us all to live a little fuller lives, a nice thought no matter how you slice it. Jun 21, 2007  Positive After one year and few months i finally got to meet in person thig great man as William is. Sharing time and conversation on the grass at Centennial Park in Sydney, has been an honor to finally hug and cook causages on the bbq talking about riding, australia, aborigenal people and getting all high drinking wine and beers.

Feb 5, 2007 Positive Will was great, he put up with me not being around too much as we had some date confusion, but on the plus side he got to meet some of the Perth CS crew and their surfers. He was kind enough to show me the photos of his trip so far, he's seen more of Australia than I have! And we talked about cars and bikes which I don't get to do with a lot of my surfers. Feb 5, 2007 Positive We met Will at the Perth Sunday Session at the Foundry...We had heard about him from Sharon who we stayed with in Freo just before he arrived at her place and he then told us that he had heard about us from Carly and Tony with whom he had stayed with in Adelaide! Small world! He is travelling around on his motorbike...oneday ill get the keys! ;) Would have liked to hear all of his stories but sadly ran out of time! Who knows our paths may cross again!
