Very good and hospitality person! We (me and my friend) was in Tampere only 1 night, and have a Yoav how hoster 1 day too, but know he only good side.

Its very nice guy!!!And super cooker!!!Also Im sure we will continue to watch film!
Finland is good country with beatiful people and nice hitch hike!!!

I met Yoav while I was traveling through Ireland by myself, and together with three more people we hiked and saw the west coast of Ireland for one week. I think Yoav is a great person with really good people-skills, and I hope to meet him again at some point somewhere on this planet!

Yoav is an interesting person with a unique outlook and life experience. Very pleasant travel companion.

Yoa is a sweetheart..Met in person at CS chat meeting in Dublin and I really enjoyed spending the week end with him.He is just as I imagined (although he didn t recognise me, I did straighaway :), relax, kind, funny..everything is interesting and easy with him..and he is as much addicted to ice-cream as I am to coffee by the way..

Yoav's COOL too! Don't be so modest! He just oozes with good will and amiability. He hates Bailey's ice cream though. Although that might be a problem, I'll look forward to getting to know him better.

...finally we met outside of the chat room and Yoav is just as imagined he would be. Nice guy and always smiling. He took us to Howth to get away from the masses and he was easy company. Good to see you mate.. take care

Great guy with somoetimes ironic sense of humor. CS means a lot to him so hearing that i behave like a CSer was a big compliment for me. Yoav was always in charge of maps so we never got lost:) and btw he loves corn! Canned corn, especially;)

Yoav is definitely the perfect friend to make while you're sweating your ass off, barely breathing and needing a little encouragement on a 3 day intense hike.

He's very sweet and patient..two things that led to the success of an amazing week and friendship!

Yoav and his family hosted us in the North of Israel for a couple of nights! They are sooooo lovely and nice, it was just the best start for our first Israel trip, it couldn't be better. They were extremely helpful and Yoav even showed us around, it was just wonderful and we were really lucky, that we could stay with such a cute family, which has even a great sense of humor...we just enjoyed it really very very very much! Thank you a lot, you made Israel even more special to us!! I hope to see you and your family soon in Austria!

I had an amazing time with him and his family...he is one of the most special persons i met and his family is truly amazing. I loved the food, the house, the people, the nature and i enjoyed everything we did together. he is a great host! for me it was one of the best cs experiences i ever had.

We met Yoav on a CS trip he organized to the north of Israel. He's fun to hang out with and talk to, and generally a really nice guy. We're sure that we'll meet Yoav again, and looking forward to it!

Good food, lots of laughts. I was at home chez Yoav. Was short but intensive and hope to see him (them) again soon. Obviously they are welcome anytime.

He was apositive guy and keen to support ideas from the CS community i.e. mine! But also he walcomed local finnish input and thus woudl recruit new members.

Yoav was very responsive when I needed a host. I am very thaknful to Yoav, specially cause it was Christmas time and next day he was going in his own trip, even he was bussy, he let me stay at his place. Yoav is also very helpful people- with busses and trains- thank You very much for that all!It was cool to meet Your friends in Tampere:) Have a good life in Tampere! :)

Meet Yoav on a Tues morning on the way to the pub!! We went to the cliffs, caught some trad and drank plenty of pints. Good times. The two fins were cool too and they even brought the snow with them. Snow ball fights and Snow men in Donegal. Sweet! See you again mate

Yoav is a big number on CS chat. Unfortunately he risigned as a chat moderator but I hope he will return soon. Now he came to Berlin for the weekend but stayed with DEA. We met the weekend for many hours and went on a walking tour, bar, christmas market. Nice guy, good to see you in chat every day.

Met at his house and he made us some traditional food and together we made some more food :). A relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay, he gave us some help here and there and left us his house for the weekend when he went off to Berlin! We were still hanging around when he came back... This man is the embodiment of Hospitality!

Kind, open-minded and easy going young man :) We had nice time and I´m looking forward to meet him again sometime!

i met yoav in bremen before he went to berlin. he s a polite and and really nice guy to hang around and i enjoyed the time at the xmas market in bremen with him...honestly i wouldnt have visited it without yoav :D

Yoav and I met when he was over in Berlin for a weekend. We raidered a Christmas market for some nice food which was almost impossible but well that´s life. He is a very nice guy and it´s great that he didn´t wear a hood or hat when it rained cats and dogs ...

So is true, he came to see me!! :yeah: I met Yoa more than 2 years ago through CS chat and we always had fun together. Things got a bit wrong for me in Berlin, so i couldnt go to visit him, so he did the opposite way and came to surf my couch :D There is no word to describe how good it is to have our friends around and finally have the chance to hug them. Im so glad he did it! He is a great guest, and every morning woke me up with the coffee ready to warm me! :D He is really lovely and friendly and fun! But im sure that this is not the end: i still need to surf his couch and cook for him! :) Or maybe he can come to surf my couch again (he is more than welcome), wherever i will be! :D :hugs: :kiss: :heart:

Yoav is a fantastic host. Generous, humourous and trustworthy, he is a great ambassador for Tampere. Unfortunately he could not head to Kuru with us as he had weekend plans for Berlin! Enjoy Iceland!

Yoav is nice and cool person who is living his dream in Finland! He loves snow and skiing and meeting new people.

He hosted me when I had to cut my journey, hitch-hiking trough Finland - and he was organising a CS meeting the same day! I'm very happy that I had to stay one night in Tampere!

Yoav was my first Hospitality Club guest (in March 2006). I liked it how he was eager to try and taste everything (he tried sled sliding, learnt to ski, tasted 'mämmi'...) - He was the perfect guest! After his visit I've also met him at some gatherings. Yoav is an easy-going, sociable guy who spends a lot of time in Couchsurfing chat.

Yoav is a very nice guy. He was the first person to make me voluntary drink coffee in the past gazillion years! We paertied on the cruise a couple of days after he hosted me and a friend. Hope to see you again!

yoav is such a chilled out guy that you cant help to like him, he is also my hot chicken wing eating bother from another mother :-)

I first met Yoav on the cs chat, then we met at the CS meeting in Stockholm. Yoav was the organiser of this meeting. this meeting was very well organised, and Yoav seems to me being a very nice guy. If you cross his way, don t hesitate to be in touch with him, you ll spend a great time.

Friendly and kind person. I was impressed by his knowledge about geography and history of various countries.

We met in HC camp in Seitseminen nature park. Despite "the mouse" we had a lot of fun chatting at a campfire and the next day hiking. Hope to see you again :).

Yoav is peaceful and silent, having interesting and funny stories & knowledge to share too. He can take hot sauna very well, and also the finnish language bath ;-)

I have met him a couple of times also before last weekend but now we had interesting conversations about different matters.

beginning as a very spontanious meeting, it ends very nice and we had much fun.

Yoavick is a quiet and shy guy. he's interesting, and a great company.

Yoav is quiet but when he speaks it really makes sence what he's speaking of. You really can feel yourself comfortable with him and have nice conversations also. He's really smart and wise, that's at least the impression I got from him....Hope to meet you soon!

I met Yoav for the first time on my way back home from Dublin. I was so hung over! lol he didn't even complain about the smell :) Couple months later he came to surf my couch for the weekend..And tried to get us killed by hunting(just to look) bears! Yoav has become a good friend of mine. See you soon again!

The first human I met in Finland: Yoav is an very pleasant and mindful host. (Also he can cook delicious Omelet:-)

Yoav open to me his house's doors and introduced me to his funny'n'delicious family. I enjoy a lot thier company and food. What else can I say? Any of them would be the most welcome wherever I am.

After two years of chatting I finally met Yoav when he came to meet some friends in Dublin :o) He is a very sweet and attentive person and though I was working when he came I enjoyed every moment we managed to have together!
I hope to see him anytime either in Tampere or Dublin, or elsewhere :o)

well..... all i can say is he pick me up cook for me introduce me to his friends bring me to an 100 years old sauna lurk by the windown while i was swiming in a lake(good i did not respect the tradition and keep my bikini on) make me laugh so much thanks yao hope to give you back the favor one day

Yoav is the man to stay with if you're looking to have a great time in tampere, heck, a great time anywhere. We went to a sauna and then swam in a frozen lake. He definitly introduced me to alot of his culture. NOW I'M A PROUD DRINKER OF THE GUINNESS, RESPECT!!
