I'm a fun loving and easy going guy. I like music, travel, boardgames, the great outdoors, cold beer, hot tea, good food, adventure and laughter.

A couple of years ago I completed a program in sustainable new construction before I moved to Toronto to plant gardens on city rooftops. I've been working in sustainable construction ever since although this winter I'm currently working as a server in a craft beer bar.

I'm also quite involved in the folk music and dance scene in Toronto.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I originally joined to help me find accommodation while backpacking through Europe, although, I found much more than that. Over the years Couchsurfing has allowed me to meet people, visit locations and have experiences I never would have found without it.

Interessen

I enjoy listening to music and podcasts while building furniture out of scavenged materials, I like to draw and design, I enjoy playing strategy boardgames with friends over a few beer and I participate in English folk dance and song circles every Monday.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite music genre would probably be traditional folk although I listen to a little bit of everything. If I had to chose the bands that get the most airtime at my place I would have to say The Guess Who, Murder Murder, Stan Rogers, Gogol Bordello and Movits!.

I like a variety of film genres but the top 3 would be Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Western.

Lately I've been a bit fixated on books portraying dystopian futures.
