ABOUT ME

Ummm... about me?? I like alot of things. I love to travel. I love to meet people from diff countries and from completely diff cultures. I like soft toilet paper. I like biking, hiking, anything having to do with being outside. I like coffee. I like the smell of the hot dogs and old books. I hate the taste of hot dogs and the thought of eating one grosses me out. I decided to give up meat, but once every month or two it sneaks its way into my life. I LOVE learning, but not just thru books and courses, but thru people and lifes everyday challenges. I like camp fires. I like the smell of my clothes after a campfire. I like to play with fire. but sometimes i am not careful and i burn myself. I dont like getting burned because my skin get bubblely and it hurts. I love young children's art work. I like sharing "my" (i am a teacher :) children's excitement and discoveries in the simplier things. Oh, and the smell of salty air can brighten my worst day!

PHILOSOPHY

SOME PEOPLE.... ALL people can touch your heart if you open up and allow them to do so.

Throughout our lives we are sent precious souls... meant to share our journey however brief or lasting their stay they remind us why we are here. To learn... to teach... to nurture... to love. 兴趣

Almost everything.... althought i am not much of a partier. I do like to go out, but not all the time. I usually enjoy a quieter nite, a coffee house, jazz club, movie nite, CAMPING (now that the weather is nice), or art in any form. My favorite "activity" is simply to gettin myself lost or wandering an unfamiliar place. I have a slight addiction to bookstores and good coffee :)

音乐、电影和书籍

Indeed, music is the pathway to our soul. It awakes every emotion within us. Although it is rare that i actually know names of artists, song titles or lyrics, that has never stopped me from singing all the wrong words, at all the wrong parts, until the song is no longer recognizable. Most currently listened to would fall into the category of Fiest, Belle and Sebastian, Unicorns, Beirut, Sufjan Stevens.
If you want to tap into my movie world, i should warn you that I am absolutely a movie-lover... late night, mid-morning, day light savings, any time really. However (now and days), its its rare that i find the time to watch a full movie from start to finish. Sigh. My favorites would include Stranger then fiction, eternal sunshine, Robin Hood Men in Tights, and Never Ending Story, among others :-)
