About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Freeing the dumpstered food, protecting forests and wildlife, general shit distrubing
ABOUT ME
Currently living homless in Victoria and working to deal with the disaster that is food security in that town as well as working to protect the last diminishing wild places in the region.
Travelling now to Manitoba to teach some good old treesitting techniques.
(non-smoker, freegan/carnivegan)
PHILOSOPHY
I move through this civilization with a kind of nostaligia for a way of life that may never existed. I shy away from possesions, and those few things I do need, i buy used. I advocate for wilderness at any cost. Rip up the roads, tear down the developments, let the grizzlie know the open skies of the prairie once more. Dream back the bison, sing back the swan.
I seek out true experiences, not prepackaged consumer delights.
I think for myself and encourage others to do the same.
I believe there is goodness in most people, if not all, but so many are asleep.
I am not a nihilist, but we live in strange times, though haven't we always? I draw inspiration as it regards balance from eastern philosophy such as the Tao Te Ching and the I Ching, and Native American spirituality though I prefer to develop my own cosmology as oppossed to adopting others.
I consider myself an anarchist, though it is such a loaded term for some people. A true anarchist (which I can't say I am, but...) is always changing. Anarchy is not a fixed ideology (that would be anarchism, which is different). It is not neccesarily violent. (not for peaceful me) It is simply a recognition of our personal freedom, that we were born to be more than wage-slaves and consumers, that we have the right to choose and build our own destinys. And so much more, but I've written enough...

Music, Movies, and Books
Like all kinds of music except classical, jazz and pop (rock, country, etc, anything on mainstream radio is generally garbage)
I listen to a lot of Spearhead, like movies, mostly independant, do a lot of reading of almost anything but romances and violent stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The whole journey is amazing.
Being with the buffalo in Montana.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to convert diesel engines to Straight Vegetable Oil. (not biodiesel, that is a different technology) I also know how to make biodiesel and build biodiesel processors. I know how to climb huge old growth trees (and smaller trees) with straps, ropes, etc.
Other skills like writing, cooking, lots of random facts about stuff like wildlife management and radical activism.
