Raffaello is a great guy, calm, nice funny and last but not least with a BIG HEART!I surfed @ his place with other 12 people and it was like we where a big community, I definitely suggest anyone to go and meet and spend time with him and he will know what I'm talking about! GRAZIE RAFFA!!!!!

I would say more than Positive!The clowning session in the street were just something i'll never forget!Raffaelo is a very kind host and his sister was lovely with them :)We also met some other CS and we have a lot of fun at a nice international party!Verona itself is also worth but it is more than awesome if you stay with Raffaelo!Grazie mille!!!

I've spent two days in Verona with my brother at raffaello's place.So great, I just can't tell.
He's said almost everything, I just want to add that we picked up kakis for breakfast, that we had 'il aperitivo' outside with excellent regional wines, and pizzas in a restaurant by two o'clock in the morning and you will know everything !!

Raffaello was a great host. He is a wonderful easygoing person who made our stay in Verona perfect. He introduced us to Sarah and her family who cooked us a fantastic dinner. He is also, very understanding (sorry about the washer), and we reccomend him as a host to everyone!!! Ciao, ciao

He is very helping, simple and sweet person. We lost our way to his home and he came on his bike in the middle of the night to help us. He has a whole room dedicated to couch surfers and many wall posters where everyone who has surfed his couch has signed. It is quite interesting. He is very friendly and of course funny ; as his part time hobby is clowning. It is so interesting to meet people like him.We wish him luck with everything.

I surfed at Rafaello s home just one night..and I felt really confortable cause he has such a beautiful CSroom!
One night wasnt enough to meet him a lot, but as I could see he s an intresting person with lots of energies to put on CSprojects. We hanged out with some of his friends for a couple of wine glasses..

These guys came to Zagreb and we hang for a while in the city... and if anyone told me I'll be walking around town dressed like a clown I wouldn't belive him/her - they managed to do it anyway! Funny, nice and always up for a laugh ;)

Raffaello, you have an amazing aura surrounding you. As well as being a clown and making people laugh and smile at your very presence, you are a gentle and kind spirit! Was great to be in your shoes for the night and clown around town! Would do it again in a heartbeat! Keep doing what you do best and hopefully next time we meet, it will be more outrageous than the first time we met :)

And so we did. With a small handfull of Croats and a lot of Italians, balloon-swords and a great attitude we invaded Verona. Man, this city is amazing and Raffaello is a proper CS Machine. YOU ROCK!!

Raffaello was my hero! I was lost and tired in Verona and he arrived, brought me to great romantic funny places (in his great dirty car, quite fun!!!)

Raffaello was my first host after almost 2 years i m in this great world called couchsurfing. And what a great first time!!!! Raffaello is super, Me and 4 of my friends were looking for a couch in Verona and he was immediately ready to open his door to all the 5 of us!!! We spent some hours walking in the city with he as a guide, a superb guide! I think i can't add anything new to the several words people already used to describe him. i can just say thanks and i hope to meet you soon!

Raffaello and his sister Noemi were my guests for two days and even if I was, as always, really busy and could not spend so much time with them I can say that I have met two very nice, polite and spontaneous persons! I really hope I can go and visit them in their nice town!! Ciao ragazzi!!

He invited us to the vivid old city of Verona even if he already had a couchsurfer and introduced us to his engaging friends. We felt like we were part of the bunch especially when we got the local spritzer and pancakes. I met him through other Verona CSs and ended up surfing his couch for one night as well. He has a great place and he´s excellent company. Trust me he can keep anybody entertained especially with his clowning antics. I think he really shows the best side of Verona to everyone. You gotta love him.

No wonder that Raffaello collected already 1000 positive references: he's a leader, he's a funny trickster, he's a comedian, he's a great friend, he's a wise man, he's a party animal, he has always the right word, the right gag, the right approach. He is the first italian CS I met and he's definitely full of charisma.

*Update* Well I have gotten to know Raffa better in these last few crazy months and I have to say he is an incredible person all the way around. He is the perfect example of a model human being: so giving, caring and honest. Any person would be lucky to know him!

We had an awesome time surfing with Raffaello,he really made our stay at his house a fun experience!meeting new people,eating and drinking, and having so much fun!

I had arranged to stay at his place for one night in Verona for a night near the end of our travels around Italy. However as our travel plan was too intensive and my wife had broken a finger, we decided to reduce it, stay in hotels and visit less cities, thus we excluded Verona from our travel plans. And as we did not have Internet, we called our friend in Latvia to ask him to send a CS message to apologize that we would not be coming to Verona. Only when we already were in Latvia for several days he told us that he couldn't find our Verona host among a lot of CS messages, but by this time we already had a negative reference. Sorry, dude.

Raffaello and everyone we met through him were wonderful! We had such an amazing time! Spritz! Spritz! Spritz! Raffaello is such a kind, thoughtfull, fantastic guy. The dinner at Sara with other couch surfers was our favorite part! such warm people, we will never forget our time there! GRAZIE!!

Raff was a great host. I didn't get time to really get to know him and Sara, but they did their best to help us out. They are cheerful, kind people who are delighted to share their space with you.

Rafaello is a great person. I've be in Verona with two friends and he couch us after we spend two nights in a tent placed in wild garden.

Raffaello opened his home to me and my two friends. He made us feel welcome and, despite his busy schedule, he showed us around Verona for an afternoon. A very nice guy!

I met Raffaello and Sara in Venice on 19 july, at the Redentore Night Meeting with many other C.S. members.
Great experience! They are extremely friendly couple, with a great sense of humour. We shared our food and slept together on the Venice Lido beach, we got a good talk and I find them really smart and friendly, guess it would be a great experience to host them.

We were hitchhiking in Italy with to friends and got to Verona by chance and without any plan. After many people we tried to contact he helped and saved us from sleeping in a park for the third night:) I'm still waiting for the next time to get to know him better (maybe in Argentina?) but now at least I know which Ninja Turtle he would be:)!

Rafa and Sara are really cool. Pity they were here just for a night. Even so, they shared the house with 6 other couchsurfers I was also hosting. They were extra-nice and I'm very honored to have welcomed another CS ambassador. Rafa even speaks portuguese!I will always remember sharing beers, sausage and bread at midnight in my kitchen with them, 2 americans, a peruvian, a chilean, a dutch and a german girl whose national football team had just eliminated Portugal in the Eurocup semi-finals. I can not imagine having a more positive experience with couchsurfing than I did with Raffaello in Verona. I could tell after a few days that he and his friends and family are genuinly good and caring people. We had many of the same interests and I felt at home the entire time. He makes you feel like you have a home in Verona forever! The whole 2nd floor is available, so we felt really comfortable and his cuban bongos with his guitar let you enjoy a jaming session in his kitchen!
