Depends on the day of the week as to what availability there is.....

Set in rural Alaska, this couch will keep you warm and fed cuz we got's the food and bodyheat to do it right! Accessed by french doors, so wideloads are no problem. Live on a working ranch so there are horses and pets galore, so allergies may be a problem. Entertainment goes along the lines of incredible outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, sledding, and good ol' AK drinkin. Live with my nuclear family of 4 while in town, who are smoke friendly as long as it's not tobaccy. As this is a working ranch there's not a lot of leeway about noise at night but bedtime is not until midnight or later on occasion. Friendly folks with interesting lives! Come on over!

I am among the most entertaining people you will ever meet. Always active, always down for whatever, and interesting to talk to. Attentive, engaging and verbose, i have been told that if what i was saying wasn't so funny, that i would be talking way to much.
I play any and all percussion, and many other types of instruments. I own a HANG drum, a super rare melodic metal drum from Switzerland, and am a circus performer with the AK Fire Circus when i am in Alaska. If i meet you in the summer i can show you the community we are trying to build of performers and freaks that comprise the festival season of Alaska.

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done

Summer Solstice in Alaska, '05... smoke in the air because of forest fires, and the sun barely descends over the horizon, right behind Mt. McKinley and Foraker. As the shadows cast by the mountains pierce through the smoke, what looks like black searchlight beams stab out over the Knik Arm. Beauty personified. Swam with beluga whales in the Arctic Ocean. Bagby Hot Springs in Oregon. Zoobomb! in Portland. Bernal Heights in San Francisco. Snowfall over the Sierra Nevadas. BRC '07. Moontribe Gathering, in the middle of the Mojave.

So more than one thing but experience is manifold.

I'd trust him to babysit - and not just other peoples' kids, but my own too. He played his Hang drum while I gave birth. Need I say more? We spent many days hosting, surfing, traveling, and living together.
