Groups I Belong ToCouch Information
Couch Available: Yes Preferred Gender: Any Max Surfers Per Night: 3
Shared Sleeping Surface: No Shared Room: YesCouch and futon are in the living room so it is a shared sleeping space. I also have a couple of housemates, so there will be a lot of sharing going on -Comfy sectional couch and maybe an extra futon lurking somewhere. I have a few roomies but they're usually pretty cool about strangers sleeping in the living room.
-I'm right next to a few bus stops so that's nice and easy. -There are a few good parks and hiking trails around my neighborhood.
-Apparently the sports facilites in my town make it the tournament capital of the province of B.C.
-I can show people around if I'm not working or attending a class.
-I would prefer no more than 1-2 days per surfer.

Personal DescriptionAllo there. I'm T.J. I'm a crazy red-headed girl and university student in the town of Kamloops. I collect vintage cars and vintage music and I fancy myself a writer, but that is not my day job. I'm down for people staying at my place, but don't touch my albums. :)How I Participate in CS2I am using the couchsurfing site to find places to stay on my way down to California in a week or two, and in an effort to pay it forward I have volunteered my couch for others to crash on when I'm back home.CouchSurfing ExperienceI've had a few people crash so far and it's been fun.InterestsRetro music

From MANDIE M Canowindra, Australia Sep 5 Positive TJ is a no-fuss kind of girl. I have enjoyed her chilled out nature while working together on CS comms, hanging out at the Alaska Collective and then crashing her couch in Kamloops. Nothing seems to be a hassle and I love and admire her zany ambitions related to racing cars around Europe and her traveling van. I look forward to hearing how your adventures shape up TJ!
From Nick Racz Las Vegas, United States Aug 24 Positive You get a double dose of goodness from TJ as she is Ginger and Canadian. We met up in Alaska and she seemed to adjust well to the crazy life at the collective. She has good taste in music, open to try new things, and is pretty laid back.
From ALASKAMATT Anchorage, United States Aug 24 Positive I met TJ at the Alaska CS Collective and gave her some training on how to use a manual transmission. She takes life in stride, don't take no' BS from nobody, and doesn't find the use of having drama in her life (pfew!). Good luck on the road race!
From Kymberly Blackstock Anchorage, United States Aug 19 Positive T.J. is a super fun girl. Had a GREAT time with her for a night of couch surfing and an evening of going around the silly little town of Anchorage. I hope to see you again sweet flan!
From Elvire Callaghan Dublin, Ireland (Republic of) Aug 17 Positive TJ is good humoured, perceptive and chatty - great company!
From Conor McGee Dublin, Ireland (Republic of) Aug 17 Positive Definitely vouchable material. She's cool!
From Jim Stone Berkeley, United States Aug 16 Positive I really enjoyed hanging out with TJ during her brief time at the Alaska CS Collective. It's because of her I saw the town like a pseudo-tourist one last time and got the photo that I'd been trying for all summer. I definitely look forward to meeting up with her again one of these days.
From Rachel Watford Waipahu, United States Aug 15 Positive TJ is a blast to hang out with, and I cant wait for her to get tired of the cold and visit Hawaii! :D If I could I'd vouche for ya too! :P
From Leonardo Bassani da Silveira Vila Velha, Brazil Aug 12 Positive T.J was a fun, unique and inspiring host to me, taking herself to challenges like how to convince her roommates to have 4 strangers in her living room, and sharing her dreams of crossing Eurasia on a small car. Good fun times T.J, miss ya!!
From Jon Olsen San Francisco, United States May 8, 2007 Positive TJ and Jen were delightful guests. They're welcome on our couch anytime.
From Marilyn Ward Newport, United States May 5, 2007 Positive TJ was very open, friendly and polite. Would definitely have her to stay again. Highly recommend her to anyone who she approaches on couchsurfing. |
