Tiziano D'Angelo

Tiziano is a flippin amazing host! He saved me at the last minute and took me in, for what turned out to be an awesome 4 days! His knowledge and hospitality were amazing and he took me on the best midnight bike tour ever! lol I also went with him to the 3rd Dolo meeting and it was great!! I had a fabulous time with him...he's really a first rate guy, and I hope he stops by when he takes off on his own world journeys!!

We have had an interesting change of ideas but it was 4 o'clock in the morning and we have no time to go on in our interesting conversation. Tiziano is a very nice person! :-)

Tiziano is a really lovely guy :) I've met him during the meeting in Rome.. and it was around 4 days having fun with amazing people and Tiziano wasn't exception!!! He's funny, easygoing and u can have interesting conversations with him! Thanks for try to teach me some italian , and hopefully meet soon, this time in London ;p

With my 2 friends we've been hosted by Tizziano. He said us which places are most interesting in Padova, served his help. We spent togheter great evening with pasta and wine.he's great guy!!Grazie Tizziano:)).

Met this guy during one of many alcoolic meeting, so typical in venetian cities:) we introduced each others to respective associations (Cs and AEGEE), and even when I moved to Spain he has aways been very keen on helping giving infos, from his superior experience in project.

Tiziano was my very first host:-) I went to Padova with both my mom and son, and he hosted all 3 of us(!)While staying at his place, we got to know a lot of other couchsurfers! He took us to a CS meeting at a local pub in Padova where we meet a lot of other couchsurfers and tried the local very popular drink Spritz!
From the very first contact I had with Tiziano, he provided a lot of great information about transport and how to get around in Padova. He is really trying very hard to be great host for many many couchsurfers!! When staying at his place you always meet a lot of people! He hosted 2 more people while we stayed at his place! 2nd day I was there, I made some Danish cousine for all the people staying at his place! We all had a very nice time and a great night!

Tiziano is a guy who could help you not to be lost in the city sights cause he has maps, tourist's guide... He is like a treasure for couchsurfers! :)) Also he is so organized and cute! One evening spent at home just chatting and drinking wine... it was very good!

First couchsurfing experience, wonderful!
I started my trip thinking of breezing through Italy to spend more time in the east. Then I thought about staying a little bit in Venice and see the surroundings. I ended up staying four days in Padova...
I never dreamed of participating to the european mobility day in Padova ; i never thought I would eat sushi for the opening of a new restaurant in town, with people from all over the world ; I never knew I would ride a bike to the hills south of Padova, with a personal guide...
All this I did,thanks to Tiziano ; he is a great host, smiling, helpful and very nice!!

I met tiziano at first in Rome at a couple of meetings that i was organizing. I had soon a very good sensation of him: kind, trustable, helpful etc. Then last summer it happened to meet him again at Sziget for one evening (REM concert) and i did a guided tour for him on the island :)

Tiziano is the guy you can meet by couchsurfing for sure =) He is a very nice and careful person. We met in Budapest and also we had some great experiences together in Padova. Ci vediamo! xxxx

At least somebody how loved being on lake Balaton. Tiziano was wise enough not to go just to Budapest but tried to see the rest of the country. I showed him parts of lake Balaton and I had a great day. I enjoyed his company so much that I drove him to his host. We have to do this again... Maybe in front of Campanile???

Tiziano is the best couchsurfer ever! he is completly open-minded, nice, open to everybody needing not only a couch, but a friend in italy. he is very active, he always organizes a lot of events for us and he s always ready to join a meeting in verona. therefore i think he s the best Italian country ambassador we could have!

Tiziano was very welcoming, friendly, and a good cook. The first night I stayed at his place we went out for pizza and drinks and got to meet some of his friends and local CSs. He is an excellent host, up for chatting and helpful with advice on what to see and do in Padova as well as Venice. Thank you Tiziano :)

it was a real honor to be able to host Marta and Tiziano. they brought me a really fine italian wine and cooked me a tasty italian pasta too. sadly they just had the opportunity to stay in pécs for one night. you are welcome back anytime ;)

First we met in tiny silent Pecs and then Tiziano hosted me in Padova. And he was amazing host! Very hospitable and nice; and his place is very cozy. Don't forget to bring him a flag of your country when coming to Tiziano's place :)

Tiziano è una ragazzo bravisimo! I met him at the camping, and ask for place in Padova, an he say no problem!!! he hosted me and other 2 boys from France! He is a careful, kind person. At the moment I went to his house we were 9!! He has too much PAZIENZA! he lent me some guides for going to Venezia and also explained me how to arrived there!!! He organized a dinner for a vouch of CSs in PADOVA! the first night PIZZA and the second one PIZZA and PASTA! Thanks for everything!!! =O)

Tiziano is an absolute doll. He is clean and organized and sweet and funny! Not only did he take me and my friends into his home last minute, he also made us fabulous pancakes and was a kind and trusting friend throughout the whole stay! I wish to see him again someday!

WOW!! Tiziano is a fabulous ambassador for couch surfing! He organised a huge cs party in Venice so we could join the annual festival and see the fireworks.
He is very passionate about the CS project and has a really big heart, offering others his home when they are stranded, even sleeping on the floor himself! I hope you get a chance to visit the 300 people from 40 different countries you have hosted including me!

Tiziano organized the Redentore Night Meeting in Venice on 19 july 2008. My best Italian experiance so far! All his organization about the meeting was fantastic! Friendly person and helpfull, reading his profile is amazing, hosted so many people!

Hope to be able to return the favour sometime in the future.

Tiziano is definitely a point of reference to the whole CS community.
I met him in Venice on 19 july, at the Redentore Night Meeting with many other C.S. members. Great experience: all his organization about the meeting was fantastic! He's my C.S. hero!
He's extremely friendly person, great guy, generous and ready to help others!
We shared our food and slept together on the Venice Lido beach, we talk a lot about our CS experiences and I find him really smart and friendly, guess it would be a great experience to host him. I hope we can meet again soon!

Update July 2008:
Not only did Tiziano save my day by helping me out to find a way from Zurich to Verona when all trains where on strikeg, he also hosted me for a night in Padova. We went out to an alternative but very cozy place with other Couchsurfers as well. It was a great pleasure to stay at Tizianos place. See you soon around in Norway :)

Tiziano is a great person and a perfect host. We talked, cooked, shared CS-HC experience and went to the local drinking event =) Despite he had to get up very early next morning, he showed me night Padova and suggested things to see the next day. One of the main pillars of CS community in Italy. Tiziano is calm and relaxed, always ready to help everyone whenever it's necessary. It was great to have him in Pistoia Pizza Meeting. I hope to participate with him in some other Cs meeting or gathering and make a real "photo" challenge Nikon vs Canon!

I stayed with Tiziano for two nights. He is a pleasant, softly spoken chap. We had a nice evening which he organised visiting an observatory and a museum which were open till 1am and long chats over pizza. Thanks for everything especially the ice cream - yum. xx

Tiziano, is fantastic!
In the night, and even being tired, he took me in bicycle along Pádua's center, telling me all the little stories arround the thown, then I went to sleep to his house that is the PERFECT PALACE OF THE CS! With maps, guides, photos, posters with indications, everything very organized for the comfort of his guests.

Tiziano has an unique personality! Priceless member of the Italian CS community, he was very kind and helpful answering to the message I posted in the Venice group. It was really nice meeting him at my first Italian couchsurfing meeting in Padova and then in Pistoia at the pizza party!

It was a great experience and a great place to stay. Tiziano was also kind enough to make a fantastic meal along with some home-made gelati (which was great!).

save my ass, offering his couch while visiting biennale. it was a hard day for him, but as a real cs-ing angel he took care of us...and i have cried that night, a lot, the reason was happines and fun :)
update III = "tips on how to avoid all the rules while surfing tizianos couch":
go camping with him :) he will bring a tent especialy for you and there are no instructions on how to behave while using it, so feel free to do whatever you want :) then please leave a positive reference saying "i was surfing his couch" (this is a part i enjoy most, while listening to his comments :)

... even if he sold himself for a biscuit with chocolate, i really like this guy and I really enjoyed his company during the CS meeting in Croatia and then in Pistoia... a funny guy,but be careful, after a certain hours he keeps laughing for nothing and tryin' to stop him is almost impossible (almost... you could kill him... :P) Hope to meet him again soon!!!!

I spent 2 nights in Padova at Tiziano's house and I think he's a perfect tourist guide: he's full of good advice and he spent his time with me as soon as he could introducing me to the beauties of his wonderful city.

Tiziano hosted me and two other friends for one night on our way from Milan to Rome. Although our late arrival and early departure the next day didn't allow us to get to know each other well, from the very beginning I got the feeling that he is a nice guy by all means. I would definitely like to meet him again, he is always welcome in Athens!!

..we had great time for the weekend in rovinj; we exchanged travel experiences and the passion for photography. easy going and relaxed guy..one day we'll have a spritz in padova! :)))

We spent great time talking about CS and many interesting things happened to him during his big experience on Cs' world!

Tiziano is my first host ever. And one of the best ones :) He's attentive, serious (but not excessively), tidy, friendly etc. (there could be a veeeery long list) and loves Lithuania as well! :)

I'm lucky that after arriving in Italy i went straight to Padova instead of staying in Milan. Tiziano made my mood up after the tiring days i had at home & also awakened the traveller's & adventure searcher's mood in me! :))

I met him at the German/Italian gathering in Wiesbaden. We talked for a while and I am convinced, if you host or visit him - you will have a wonderful time! Looking forward to meet again...

First time we met Tiziano was during the 1st Little Dolomites meeting.
Soon after, we participated his organized meeting. Well- since the weather conditions weren't perfect for a hiking picnic-meeting, Tiziano created quickly a back-up meeting in Este which was very well done!
From the quality time that we spent together laughing and chatting about different subjects, we can say that he is reliable, funny, friendly and easygoing person.
His devotion as an Ambassador in this Project is truly remarkable.

In a few years we met several times in different parts of Italy, and Tiziano also hosted me once. One of the first and most enthusiastic CSers in Italy, and a valuable component of our local team.

It has been more then a year I stayed at Tiziano's home and I've always had on my conscience that I haven't left a reference for this great guy! He hosted me in Padova on a very short notice. He's really enjoyable to talk to, tells you what to see and do in Padova and really makes you see how CS works because of people like him. And he made me a wonderful cappocino which I never forget - Hope it's never too late to say thank you!

Tiziano is so known among CS community in Italy that they could sell him as a souvenir:D. This is because he has everything what a CSer should have and give. He is very friendly, polite, helpful, funny and with many experiences. Hope to see you on one of your meetings.

Me and other friends went to Padova for a day and two of us stayed over night at Tiziano's place. He was very helpful and nice with us, thanks to his wide knowledge we could apreciate even more his beautiful city. What is so nice about Tiziano is that he LOVES his country and is PROUD of it!, and likes showing it around.... that could seem simple, but, is not usual for Italians! he is really nice, again, an adjective which does not really describe the depth of his personality!, Thanks Tiziano!
