The Godfather! My three nights at Tony's house were absolutely hilarious. He is generous and full of energy and will entertain with music and dancing for hours. If you stay with Tony there is no need to go out dancing- just have your own dance party in the loungeroom! Tony, thank you for everything.

I asked Antonio if he could host me few days before my arrival because the person who should welcome me in Siracusa did not answer me (after having accepted to host me :()BUT I was very lucky to meet Antonio, he is such helpful, full of joy and life, even if this period was not the best for him. But he spent with me the max of time he could, introduced me to friends, cousin. And he has an intersting philosophy of life, but I'm sure he will told you about this :) thank you again to help me !

Tony was very kind to let my friend Kristy and I stay at his place for 3 nights, despite it being an obviously stressful time with him moving house.
We had a lot of fun going to festivals, meeting his cousin Eddy, his friends and dancing in his kitchen!
He is definitely Tony "The Godfather"! Beware though: This man loves to be a DJ at his house and is a bit of a prankster: He set up from his work for his home stereo system to go off at full volume with crazy sounds such as tarzan and sirens at 8:30am to wake Kristy and I up!!

Thanks Tony for the fun times and for your hospitality despite the stresses of moving house.

he hosted me in his place, we went out together with his cousin to see the city at night, unfortunately it wasn't a good time to spend more time and have more fun together, I heard that he is more crazy than his cousin Eddy what is hard to imagine :)

Weiiii Tony "Il Padrino" Lorefice, how you doing???? hahaha...people let me tell you that if you meet Tony you'll never regreat it, he is such a great person, i've stayed at his place for three days and if you go, you have to prepare for the welcoming that you are going to receive from Tony...ahhh because i forgot to tell you that he is also a Dj hahaha...

He invited me also to go out with a couple of australian girls, and he made me taste "La Granita", a great and refreshing beverage that is made in Siracusa.

I have to come back one day, to share a lot more with him, because of his job and other meetings we could not share more. But still, he opened his house doors to me and i'm so grateful for that.

Thanks Tony and let me know if you come to Madrid.

Tony est un ambassador, ça veut tout dire! J'etais bloquèe à l'aeroport et il a fait 50km pour venir me chercher! A Syracus, il m'a emmenè dans un petit coin de paradis et on a fait des bouffes avec ses amis qui sont vraiment adorables. Ca ne donne pas très envie de partir de chez lui! Donc je reviendrai

He was fantastic! We did so many funny thinks!!! He took me and our other friends to very beatiful places, a place called Cava Grande di Avola, a lake behind a big mountain, just the paradise!. He is a man with a lot of surprises and great personality. And also a very good person, with nice family values, i liked this a lot. "La famiglia". Hope to see you soon! Attention female travelers! Tony loves shopping with us and he has fantastic taste! He is a high energy host with a great love of party music at high volumes. He's very polite and respectful of others but loves to joke around and is constantly smiling. He's got a great group of friends too. He really enjoys spending time with his guests so if you prefer time alone, just be clear with him beforehand. Otherwise, enjoy the ride! (And make sure to wear your seatbelt, cause he's a fast driver!)Thanks Tony for a great experience. :)

Tony is a fantastic, amusing, and friendly person..!!!
I and my cousin Annamaria had a very good time with him and with all his friends. He introduced to us many friendly people and the fantastic Sandra,a funny mexican girl..and we laughed so much together..A fantastic team in a fantastic place!!!
All together we visited the beautiful city of Siracusa,.the beach,some lovely streets, restaurants, shops,cafè..we spent lots of time eating "granita, arancini, cannoli siciliani...wonderful!!!! At the end we visited CAVA GRANDE ..AN EXCELLENT TRIP..tHANKS TONI YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Tony is a cool guy and a very sociable person. Though me being dancing day and night time, we also had some occasions to do things together like going to the beach, to a lunch or a football game. For the night time he's elegant and in the center of attention. He laughs a lot and worried to make you feel confortable but on the other hand gives you sufficiant freedom also to have your own plans.

I stayed at Tonys house and he was very kind. He show me the cathedral and explain me a lot of things of the city. He is very prepared to welcome his couchsurfers.

Toni hosted me a couple of days and I can promise he and his cousin eddy rocks.
Toni is a great quide, awesome dancer, pretty good joker :D and such a gentleman. He really made me love syracusa and made me feel home.
And of course I need to mention his place rocks!! I got own room, cell phone to use and keys to his place. That if something shows great hospitality!

actually,i think the summation of how i know him sums this up. he had a teleconference while i got caught up on my emails, but what a nice gesture!! hope i can see siracusa with him later!

He's a good friend, we often we organize party with delicious food, he's a good cook, always he impreses the people. All the girls appreciate him.

I knew him since I was a teenager because we went in the same school, now I met him again in CS. A wonderful surprise! I am very happy to meet him again because he is special, pleasable and gentle and I think like him that we will meet us like past.

as he wasn't able to host us, he found a friend who was ready to accomodate 2 backpackers. that was a really nice gesture! :)

He is a very happy and friendly bloke! we both live in Ortigia. Very much recommended to show people around in the town, as he is a knowledgeable guy: he is almost an architect!

He has always been so nice and kind I just saw him once during my trip but he always offered me his help and his friendship he is just adorable!!!

Tony came through for me in Sicily when he came from his job to pick me up at a cafe. He offered me a bed and it was a great place to stay. He is a nice and genuine guy, smart and fun, and I got to go out to dinner with all his friends to have a true Sicilian dinner with very nice people! Is see why he is the ambassador!

For sure Toni is one of more elegant member that I met!. His home is very pretty with 1 important thing... he has a nice hat of Palermo team!!! (for our friend Michel!). Even if he was busy during our meeting in Siracusa he spent time with us laughing and speaking about our nice experiences in CS!! Seems full of energie contact him!

When i met him the first time it was like he was jumped out of his profile so funny he is and original .

Antonio lives in a really beautiful apartment in the oldtown of siracusa. We where quite happy when we recognised that we have a room (his room normally, he moved for us!) with a bed for ouerselfs.Thanks, wish you just the best in your life!

Tony is very sweet and generous, an excellent guide to Siracusa and a dear and caring friend. Margit and I went to Siracusa with an intention to meet up with Tony and stay for a day, but then we fell in love with both Tony and Siracusa and stayed longer.

Tony is a walking dance party!! Every minute was eventful in Siracusa! From playing soccer with his friends to experiencing his and his cousin's dj skills, I had a blast! If you have a chance, stay with Tony...he's a fantasic host!

I have been guest from my cousin that lives to the historical center of ortigia, I have spent marvelous days together with his company and to his parties. I hope to return soon to siracusa.

Introduced by Vincenzo, I've been to Tony only one day. Enough to realize that his joy is contagious. Good-hearted guy. He opened me new worlds taking me in the "Corsino" cake shop.. not a simple cannolo, a real poem!! Everyone, a time in life, should taste the poetry flavour.. so, go to Tony and he'll show you the way.

First time I did couchsurfing. Honestly I searched a place, to spend not much money, but Tony was a really good host and I felt very well. He also took me around to go out with his friends. I had a great time in Siracuse.

What should I say, he is delicious guy. He showed me Siracusa as would do with his home, proud and in love with it.We caught a good feeling from the beginning and I think this is important with him. He made me eat a lot of sweet tipical food and amuse me thanks to his pleasing friends.I hope we will meet again!

A great guy who was awesome to surf with! Really nice and funny and also sincere. On top of it all, he makes the best coffee!

I met Tony at an improvised CSers meeting in Catania..He is a very easy going person and some guests we had in common, told me he is a great guide in Syracuse. See you soon for the next meeting...

Tony welcomed us to his home, cooked and danced with us showed us around and helped me considerably when i was down with an upset stomach. The poor man drove me around to hospital and doctor and had a lot work with me. I am very grateful to him for all his patience and good humor. THANKS Tony.

tony is the most friendly, hospitable host you could wish for. he has much energy, and pride in his city, adn will take you on a guided tour. he is very sweet and fun!

Tony is friendly and outgoing, he fits perfectly in his Sicilian background. antonino is really someone who mean's to be good, someone just. that's the point of couch surfing to me, to act like you want a see the world look like. i though that was really interesting has a deep experience of italia to be in antonino's house, for the knowledge your gonna get from him. he'll give you a tour of the city, your gonna get to meet is whole micro society! (in party's situation..) he's my prefered italian so fare!!
