We know that CouchSurfing.com is a service that helps you find free places to stay and great people to hang out with when you are traveling. It's more than that though. The stated mission of CouchSurfing 2.0 is to internationally network people and places, create educational exchanges, raise collective consciousness, spread tolerance and facilitate cultural understanding. A wiki is a perfect tool for this purpose.

A wiki is a collectively authored website that you define and create! The CouchSurfing Wiki uses the same structure and is a part of the same RW community as Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit. This Wiki won't write itself. And it isn't being written by an appointed council of professionals. Every page and article on this Wiki has been added by many people like you, working in cooperation with each other, building on each other's knowledge and enthusiam. So what are you waiting for?
