Main cities are Douala, Yaoundé Cameroon is constituted of 10 provinces :

Adamaoua

While in the Adamaoua province, try to visit a lamido palace.

Centre

In the Centre province make a trip to Ebebda Monatele - Balads on SANAGA riversides while viewing hippopotami and watching how people extract sand. Go to Mbalmayo to discover the AROK BEKOE refuge.

East

Places to visit in the East province are pygmies camps.

Far-North

Places to visit in the Far North province are the Waza National Park, Rumsiki and Kapsiki monts, the dam of Mokolo ,Logone lac.

Littoral

In the Littoral province

North

Places to visit in the North province are BENOUE riversides with hippopotami.

Northwest

Places to visit in the Northwest province are the Menchum Falls.

South

Places to visit in the South province are the Lobe Falls and Kribi beaches

Southwest

In the South West province make a trip to Buea and try the Mount Cameroon ascension, go to Limbe for the Limbe Botanical Garden, Limbe beaches and the Korup National Park.

West

Places to visit in the West province are Sultan Bamun Palace and Museum at Foumban, traditional chefferies like at Bafoussam and Baham :chechk Royaume Baham site. Don't miss the current annual event : NGUON festival at Foumban; the Medumba Festival at Bangangté.

MONEY

Currency is CFA franc (XAF) linked to the EURO : 1 EURO = 655,957 XAF However, other currencies such as EURO and US DOLLAR can be accepted.

To Do

+ It is recommended to take pills for malaria prevention before entering the country.

To Try

+ If going to the North province by train, don't forget to buy the pure honey at Ngaoundal station.
