Collective Grass Elevation Engineer

The statements and opinions on this page are solely those of its authors and do not necessarily represent the official position of CouchSurfing International.

Grass Elevation Engineer

The position of Grass Elevation Engineer is one of the most technical positions within the collective. The elevation of the grass must be kept within very precise tolerances, as specified in the CouchSurfing.com Horticulture Specifications and Tolerances Technical Manual. Adherence to these standards is an absolute priority for all members of the collective, daily inspections will take place, you can expect about 80% of the collective residents to be in attendance for the inspection.

Callipers are provided by CouchSurfing.com for the purposes of inspection. A sample of grass strands will be taken using one of the following sampling methods: Random sampling, Matched random sampling, Systematic sampling, Mechanical sampling, or Convenience sampling. The specific method will be chosen by the appointed lead inspector upon the day of inspection. Should the sample taken not fall within the required parameters, the repercussions will be severe.

The required apparatus will be provided in order to perform the daily maintenance tasks. It is recommended by Horticulturist Weekly, a view endorsed by CouchSurfing.com, that the perfect time for lawn maintenance is between 4:37am and 5:17am. The required equipment will only be available during this period.

Should this position fall upon you, good luck, and we'll see you on the other side...
