The New Zealand Collective is a Collective for Professionals, and it looks like the Detmold Collective will be as well. Paris 2007 will be a training collective, at which professional skills will be very useful.

At collectives, we figure out how to cover food and housing, so that volunteer professionals can congregate and use their skills to grow CouchSurfing.

At some collectives, all are welcome, but at professional collectives, there is a rigorous admissions process, so that we have the most highly capable people for you to work with.

A collective for professionals could be a kind of "highly structured collective".

In a highly structured collective, everyone wakes up together, eats together, and works on couchsurfing together in a schedule of coordinated meetings. Good idea?
